I wish I could give a good review, but the only positive thing to say about this restaurant is that at least the food didn't make us sick.. We spent 12 days in Alaska, and this was the only bad meal we had. The fish was dry and overcooked. It took almost an hour from the time we sat down... More

Expensive but awesome king crab. Friday and Saturday nights they have a great band playing 70s and 80s Classic Rock like the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac and some good country.

The food was good a bit pricey but it's Kodiak Alaska. The service was great. The view was awesome since we saw sea lions and all kinds of birds while we ate.

My friends and I enjoy going to their burger & brew Wednesday evenings. For only $10 you get a basic burger and a pint of beer (or soda). If you'd like, you're welcome to add bacon, cheese, or mushrooms for extra. Every Christmas, my office celebrates our work party here. We always get a few appetizers to share, and then... More

$10 gets you a pint and a burger, which is a pretty good bargain considering the price of food in restaurants around town. Great place to visit at least once, perhaps more if you feel so inclined. The burger is pretty darn good. Recommend getting the local brew if it's on tap. All in all a good place with a... More

Party of 6, slow night, service was wonderful, waitress was friendly, quick and attentive. The food this visit and the time we came a few months ago -- just really poor. Nothing else to say but that it tasted not great, and that was the general consensus all around.

Fridays and Saturdays the Under the Moose band plays, beginning at 6:30pm, early enough to enjoy and still get up for an early days fishing. The bar food is good, as is the selection of beers, wine or mixed drinks. The bar is continuous to the restaurant, so you can listen from either area. Dinner entrees are good and filling.

Eat here while staying in the BW hotel. Is in the same building. Saterday evening, little bit to much noise, live music, but we arrived late. Friendly people.

Went here expecting great salmon. After scraping what was referred to as a mustard sauce which was really a bunch of mustard seeds in a vinegarish paste on top of what was referred to as a "crust" on the outside of the salmon, disappointment reigned supreme. The crust was more like breading, and ya just don't do that to salmon.... More

This restaurant in the Best Western offers a complimentary full breakfast and staff are helpful and cheerful. The food is good and the rooms are basic but comfortable;
