Gourdon Harbour is well worth a visit and you can't go to Gourdon without getting a fish supper. We thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips and they were excellent value!

We had patronised this establishment when owned and ran by the previous owners as “Hornblowers”. This was our first visit since the change of ownership. We were disappointed. Our reserved table was still occupied by the previous diners when we arrived on time and we...More

My husband and I love to visit The Quayside for lunch on the rare occasions when we are in the area. We have never been disappointed. On our recent visit the food was as delicious as ever and well-presented. Service was excellent and the restaurant...More

One of the best F&Chips places around, well worth a visit especially if travelling along the coast road from Dundee to Stonehaven! - note they were closed at 8pm on Monday so check for opening times to avoid disappointment

We had a wee gander along the coast between Gourdon and Johnshaven at the weekend. The route mainly follows the long abandoned coastal rail-line between Inverbervie and Johnshaven although nowadays it is hard to imagine steam here. Along the way there were some friendly cyclists...More

Great, unexpected fish bar in a small east coast fishing village. Beautiful restaurant overlooking Gourdon fishing harbour. Absolutely brilliant fish supper, cooked as you like it. Very pleasant service from Hannah who seems to have to do it all on her own.
