Nice restaurant opposite the beach. This restaurant offers western and Indonesian dishes. We had the maihe maihe which was amazing it was just a shame the barracuda dish we ordered was so dry we couldn't really eat it. We also had the king prawns to start and they were massive! My girlfriend secretly asked the staff to put a birthday... More

I reviewed this place two years ago and gave it four stars. I'll paste that review in down below, because it is still accurate, but this time around we were even less impressed. It was a lunch sitting and two of us ordered soup. I was meant to be having a Moroccan soup, but I swear it tasted like pea... More

We tried duck, pumpkin soup and a couple of other dishes. Very well presented, and good portions. We asked for chopped chillies which added the right touch to our meals. Highlight - pisang goreng - fried bananas with honey. Excellent end to our meal.

Went with my girlfriend to this beautifully situated restaurant several times over the week we visited Kuta... When looking at the menu you see a few traditional Indonesian dishes accompanied by a western selection. Basically you just need to order anything with fish...tuna... Mai mai... Or snapper. They cook fish like I've never had in my life! Succulent melt in... More

Read about this place in Lonely Planet so when we stumbled upon it on our first afternoon in Kuta Lombok we decided to try it out for lunch. The Lonely Planet had said that the former head chef of the Novatel (the largest luxury hotel in Kuta) had set up here and that the food was very good. Having eaten... More

We had been here a few years ago by recommendation - apparently the guy who started this place used to be a Chef at the Novotel Hotel in Lombok. I remembered the food had been good so we decided to try this place again on our first night. Top points for presentation but very average in flavour. My partner and... More

Today, the term warung has slightly shifted especially among foreign visitors, expatriates, and people abroad to refer more specifically to a modest Indonesian restaurant and a place that sells things Indonesian (mostly groceries or foodstuff) It...
