Visited with my wife and 2 friends after being recommended by an established chef. Although we were early, the staff could not have made us more welcome, very friendly and nothing to much trouble. The food was first class, well presented and cooked to perfection.Friday is not a busy night, but any other day,I recommend that you book, you will not be disappointed.

This was a lovely surprise although I had heard that the front of house staff were very friendly and informative. We popped in for lunch on a Friday and the restaurant was busy. We were well received and shown to our seats. The waiter was happy to speak French or English and very apologetic because the fish dish was off... More

We went there with family (two children 7 and 16) and had a great meal. Food was delicious, staff were well informed and friendly. English is spoken but best to know a bit of French when they describe each course as it comes out. I will definitely recommend this to friends when staying in the Gausson area.

Two children in tow, yet treated brilliantly. This was one of the highlights of our holiday. Delicious food and great service. It was a sheer pleasure.

This little small-town restaurant was recommended by a friend - and not without good reason. We were immediately welcomed and shown to a table (beautifully dressed with flowers, linen and sparkling glassware) by a lady (?owner) who smiled and noticed everything. The food was innovative, elegantly presented and delicious. The bill was amazingly low - we could scarcely believe the... More

Excellent value for money at lunchtime. The chef obviously takes care when choosing his ingredients and pairing his flavours. I like to eat here when I'm in the area.

We visited as a party of four on holiday in the area. We were warmly welcomed and very well accomodated. The main lady serving us made a real effort to speak to us in English due to our lack of French language and this was much appreciated. The food was out of this world and exceeded our expectations, it was also... More

We have a holiday home just a few minutes drive from Plouec sur Lie, and we were delighted when this restaurant opened last year. We've now eaten at L'Aromatic on several occasions and have never been disappointed - fabulous food, wonderful service (Natalie is a gem), and very reasonable prices. My sister and her partner are also converts, and when... More

We visited L'Aromatic twice during a week's holiday. The first time six of us visited on a Sunday lunch and some of us went off the 25 euro menu and others went off the 31 euro menu, the second time four of us went on a Wednesday lunch time and all ordered from the 13,50 euro menu - everyone was... Description
Christophe SAGORY has a passion for herbs, spices, culinary flavors. The choice of the institution's name derives directly from this way of cooking. What is "bistronomie"? The author of this word is none other than Sebastian Demorand (columnist culinary), in order to define a restaurant that blends the warmth and relaxation of a "bistrot" and large side gourmet restaurant and its cuisine. In these time of crisis, customers are looking for authenticity. It is found in several forms, first of all simple products, preferably fresh, well prepared and with a taste reminiscent of values and memories to customers, Proust's madeleine in some sorts... Our menu is prepared according to the seasons, the local market and regional products. We also offer a selection of fine wines to pleasantly go with your meal. All menus are based on arrivals and seasons.
