Meals on the terrace. Despite the bad weather that arrived, no one to light it. patio heating.
Fine wine.
Cinnamon jacket requested medium rare but served as a sole that is much overcooked
Good dessert. Beautiful setting.

This is a restaurant that we have known for a long time. It's been a few months since we last visited. Summer 2022. The atmosphere is still pleasant but prices have skyrocketed.
What change !!
A banal example, the pure filet at 37 euros. Not much choice of meat. No sauce to my liking but the waiter offers me a morel sauce. The price of à la carte sauces is €4. I accepted. Sauce that was served for my wife's sweetbreads. HAS
The addition, this tiny pot of morel sauce received a special price of 4 +2€. This was not previously announced!!
It was good. Nothing more.
Entries vary between 20 and 26€.
Desserts between €10-12.
The ordinary glasses of Côte de Rhône wine cost €8 for a glass of medium volume wine.
The value for money is really EXAGGERATED. Let's be honest and serious!!
The justification for the price of the sauce is unacceptable. Not serious !!
It's still good! but at this price I prefer to pay a little more and get a starred one.
It is true that all prices are increasing but not at this rate!

We had a good time at 32, chemin de l'herbe. If the quality of the meal was generally up to par (except for the frozen squid ravioli in the center). The service is friendly and cordial. That said, the price is a little exaggerated compared to other bistronomic restaurants. We paid 95€/person (without dessert!).

I never tire of leaving a review on the restaurant "32 chemin de l'herbe". In terms of quality, it has extraordinary flavor.
But yesterday, a small downside, we ordered 3 takeaway dishes... when we got home... only 2 dishes! What I would like to highlight is the professionalism, kindness and speed of reaction of the chef who, straight away, offered to cook the missing dish for me and deliver it to me. And always the same quality. And this, in a very short time. Congratulations on this reaction. And in terms of taste, your taste buds will only be spoiled. A real restaurant. Hats off chef!
Am a regular and get takeaway regularly. Exceptional value for money.

Correct service, exorbitant price 40 euros for a steak...
Having known this place for a long time, we were happy to return there, although it was a bad price for us.
The service is no longer at the top, the presentation of the dishes is banal.
The first prices for bottles of wine are 35 euros.

We have known this restaurant for a very long time. Setting as beautiful as ever but food increasingly execrable. Enticing lunch menu but on the plate it’s another story. Dish ordered: piglet ribs accompanied by zucchini tartare. The latter replaced by an unpeeled carrot placed on the plate and accompanied by chips and undercooked piglet. All sprinkled with a balsamic cream straight from the can. In short, we won't go back there again.

We were well received. Good starter and excellent gin without alcohol. We ordered two American fillets with his home fries. The fries were good though overcooked. On the other hand, the American net , if tasteful, had a strange consistency. I pointed this out to Simon, one of the managers who confirmed that the butcher had obviously not done his job well. Without arguing, Simon refunded us both dishes. Very classy. We will go back to taste other dishes

So the only excuse received is that bad cooking happens? With less than 30 place settings???
A tataki? ...no, too overcooked!!!
Nothing really extraordinary beyond this overcooking...which apparently happens!
No need to talk about the staff in the dining room...that probably happens too!!!

Been going here for years but this was the first it was bad. Something was wrong with the scallops. My daughter thought it was just the preparation with a hot sauce but cold scallops. Afterwards we were both very ‘indisposed’!
So sad because it’s such a nice place and we’ve never had a problem like this before! Should have sent them back when we both thought the preparation was unusual.

The “chemin de l’herbe” is a well-established restaurant in a historic building and in a bucolic neighbourhood. Very romantic venue, perfect for couples, but not only. The menu proposes both sophisticated plates and more classical dishes, all of the highest quality. The service is perfect. Good wine and champagne, too. This of course comes at a price: this is no cheap place.

A menu delicious and refined, a place as quiet as beautifull and great waiters. But that has a price.

Went for a lunch on Sunday as a family.
Once you find the place (that was not easy, as even the entry door is hidden behind the bushes) the terrace looks fantastic, cosy and well populated with local crowd.
Menu is limited (they call it Suggestions), but an interesting combination of usual Belgian suspects with a cosmopolitan touch (a Burger a la maison).
My wife went for a beef meal (meat quality was not the best, she had to struggle to cut it), I got a fish (bit salty, but a great presentation) and our daughter went for a burger (was so rear, we thought they should call it Americano).
Service was nice, all in including a perfect desert (caffe gourmaine) we managed within 90 minutes. Portions are on a small side, especially given the prices above Brussels level.
Maybe come back, but there are so many great places around...

we ate lunch there and were quite happy.
the menu is a mix between classic dishes and some more modern 'fusion' style ones.
overall good food a bit overpriced but then the terrace is a marvel.
from it you have a great view into a deep (150 mt) garden and also the terrace is spacious so you can have a quiet lunch or dinner.
we go regularly and appreciate also the summer menu etc
worth the drive out, for sure !

there are very few restaurants in the village of Bonlez and this one has been the centre of eating out in this conservative community for many years. So it's not a great accolade to be No 1 in Bonlez. But it is somehting of an accolode to take a mixed group of well-travelled oldies and young people for dinner and find that the starting point on perusing the menu was for most members of us to conclude that we would like to try every dish listed. The mix of well-known traditional French and Belgian dishes with the adventurous touches of international flavours and ingredients was very attractive indeed. The food when it came did not disappoint. The service by a young cheerful team was very agreable. There is a very nice terrace where we sat out in late August (yes there have been one or two evenings this year where that is possible) and the interior is quirky but strikes the right note for the kind of 'familities of professionals' kind of clientele which patronizes it with enthusiasm.
Prices were not cheap but very reasonable for the quality of the foot
