Enjoyed dinner twice here while staying at the caravan park across the road. You could get takeaway and sit on the lovely beach (stinger net, and no crocodile warning signs!) or eat in. Bar and food. Open verandah plus large elevated sitting area next to the building . Enjoyed fish taco and fish burger. Solid food , cold beer ;)... More

A great spot to just drop in and have a few beers and an honest meal. Everyone on their way to port Douglas needs to stop here and take in the view and the parade of cars and motorbikes cruising the best drive in Oz - Cairns to Port Douglas

Surprisingly good food and full bar available all day. Pizzas, burgers or full bar style meals available at reasonable rates. Great atmosphere, can cater for 200+ but usually plenty of company but not overly crowded.

Lift your game guys! We visited for Mother's Day lunch. The menu is great, amazing pork tacos, tasty jalapeño poppers. All the food was delicious however we realised our crispy chicken was raw. To your credit, it was one larger chicken wing out of the bunch. These things do happen. It's how you handle it that matters. We were offered... More

Driving from Cairns to Port Douglas we stopped at Ellis Beach Bar & Grill for lunch. What an amazingly unassuming gem! Lovely location and great tasty lunch stop. I had a wonderful salad of pulled pork, green papaya, carrot and Thai dressing. Definitely not to be missed 👍

On your way to or from Port Douglas, stop in a grab a bite to eat or enjoy a quiet drink. Sunday afternoons offer live music and $1 oysters which were actually quite fresh and very tasty. Kids would also appreciate a pee stop or an ice cream.

We visited on Sunday to take advantage of the special offer on oysters @ $1 each and found them to be outstanding, they are served in various sauces on a bed of crushed rock salt ready to eat. Washed down with a cold glass of white wine whilst watching the beach patrol across the highway. Long queue to order but... More

We had past this place a few times on our holiday traveling between Cairns and Port Douglas and kept talking about stopping. On our way back to the airport with a bit of time to kill we decided to stop. Glad we did. The view is beautiful and the beer is cold. I wasn't planning on eating but after seeing... More
