We were looking forward to visiting here as it is 'Dog Friendly' . The food was nice but the young lady behind the bar was not very friendly so not a good experience, we preferred the Angler, more relaxing.

Welcoming charming local pub: great selection of drinks, proper tasty food options, cosy clean rooms with comfortable beds that are lovely decorated. On top of that: nice garden, dog-friendly and filled with a good crowd of visitors and locals. Under new and enthusiastic ownership.

Good village pub with a friendly welcome. We stopped here for lunch and all four of us ended up ordering the Falstone burger. Not for the faint hearted - it's enormous but delicious. Set us up for the rest of the day.
