We went here on a Sunday afternoon with 10 people, including teenagers. It wasn't bad but it wasn't a wow factor either. It is very casual however the food was nice and at the right size. Price is not bad either. It was my first time for a high tea so I had high expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the cafe because it doesn't look particularly welcoming from the outside. The staff and service were wonderful. Would recommend for a girls coffee or high tea.

Have taken two groups of people here in the last couple of days and tried different meals each time. All have been excellent in quality, the wine has been pleasant and the service prompt and courteous (family owned and operated). Generally no need to book a trick is to arrive after 12.30 as people get in for morning tea of... More

Return visit for me, first time trying the high tea at Cape Lavendar. As usual the service was great and the high tea offerings were superb - super fresh and so tasty with a great selection of savoury and sweet treats. Of particular note were the lavender scones - I have never had better lavendar scones anywhere else! Good selection... More

We decided on the High Tea, as we were going to be there 'for awhile'.... Good selection of little delights, hot and cold. Only one negative (for me) - the bread used for the finger sandwiches appeared to be 'toast' size - very thick. Oh, and the teapot only gave up 11/2 cups of tea - would be better if... More

Lovely place to visit and away from the hustle and bustle of the wineries. We had a very nice "tea with lavender scones" reasonably priced and very friendly hosts. Great place to step away from the traffic on a busy Sunday.

Great little cafe, with simple meals, nothing exciting but the prices were reasonable. Lavender products are nice for something different.

We rode our bikes on the swan valley cycle path and stopped here for a light lunch and coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pumpkin and sweet potato soup of the day was yum, chicken and vegetable pie also yum. Coffee good and nicely presented. Desserts looked good but we didn't sample. Prices average for Swan Valley (ie a little... More
