A very pleasant place. Labro is an ancient village very well conserved. A pearl still not discovered by many Italians and foreign people. This restaurant is very nice, inside and outside. Not really accessible with wheelchair because the streets are made with irregular stones. The menu is short and very well prepared. We had an appetizer, a dish of pasta... More

Very friendly place. Cosy atmosphere. Very relaxing and welcoming. Tasty, fresh, homemade food with an amazing wine selection. We were invited into the wine cellar to choose and the owner talked us through the different types. The deserts were also delicious. Would definitely recommend. Great experience.

Excellent food and wine in a romantic place located in a small unexpected town in the center of Italy.

We, also, arrived to find that we were the only ones at the restaurant. We had the entire attention of Mauro, and no where in all of Italy or France did we find a restaurant with a better wine selection. By the time our dinner was ready, the restaurant was filled with other customers, yet the personable service did not... More

A charming little old world restaurant tucked into a medieveal house almost carved out of the rock. The whole of Labro has this feel having been restored from near ruin 50 years ago. I had a very good plate of local salami and cheese with a suberb fish cake of salt cod and dill. A locla wine was recommended, a... More

When my friends from Terni told me we were going to Labro for a meal in their favorite restaurant I was curious - Labro is a small village on a hill...what possibly could be there? Possibly the most amazing food and restaurant in Umbria! Mauro was so very lovely and his food - DELICIOUS and MOUTH WATERING! The ambiance of... More

Valeria and Mauro have a wonderful place. It is a hidden gem. Great wines. Clever interpretation of traditional dishes. They are very welcoming hosts.

We were skeptical when we walked into the restaurant and the tables were empty. Granted, it was a random Wednesday. Yet the owner, Mauro, quickly made us feel at home. When his wine list overwhelmed us, he took us down the street to his wine cellar and helped us pick a really terrific option in person. (We even bought a... More

This restaurant is a real gem: the owner serves his wife's delicious dishes with pride and love in the tiny but beautifully decorated space, and his wine cellar is more than impressive. All in all, a wonderful experience!

I keep pinching myself and telling myself "wake up! I can't have been that good!", but then I sit back, sink into the joyous memories of a truly wonderful meal and admit that, this was certainly one of the most enjoyable evenings I've ever had in restaurant! It's a small and intimate place, pretty inaccessible too, perched in the stunning... More
