Best place to eat in Doolin. We were so impressed with the fresh delicious food. The soup is a must and the chowder was the best I’ve ever had. A special mention to the excellent attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble and to the...gentleman making sure all his customers had everything they needed - a true gem. Also loved the background music and it added to the wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be backMore

This was a return visit and the quality of food remains really good. While the chowder may seem expensive at €10, until you receive the small bucket of really excellent soup, full of fish and flavour, with lovely brown bread. Its hard for one person...to finish without some help! Highly recommended little gem at the bridge in the village. Go there, you won't be disappointed.More

Always happy to have customers returning. Thank you for your kind words.
Friends from Ballyvaughan had booked The Ivy Cottage so we could all meet up for dinner. A great choice. Warm welcome - even though we’d arrived an hour early 🙈- great atmosphere, good service, wonderful food, generous helpings. A fantastic, fun, evening.
If you want to feel like your on holidays this is the spot. Staff great, food fantastic and probably the best toasted sambo ever! The Great background music adds to the charm. I can't recommend this place enough I will definitely be back! Well done...everyone it's a Gem!More
We Had lunch here on Saturday with 3 kids & the dog.Staff were super efficient and friendly.Offered immediately to get bowl of water for the dog.
Chicken nuggets were good value home and appeared home made.Good awareness of gluten free options and the boss seemed...like a bit of crack.

Revisited The Ivy Cottage again today. My first visit during these strange Covid days. They are operating a less expansive menu than usual but most of the favourites are available including their great fresh cod,scampi.mussells. I went for a toasted ham and cheddar sandwich and...home made fries. Excellent. They cook their own hame on site and boy does it make a difference. Great friendly greeting as usual and the covered heated garden area is a blessing, given that the weather wasn't great for my visit. Coffee top notch as normal. Really liked the disposable wooden cutlery. I brought mine home.More
