This was a charming restaurant. The owner, Vess, was very helpful not only about the menu but also what life is like in this charming and beautiful area of Ireland. His brother is the chef. We had awesome mussels and crab claws and the portions were generous, served of course with lots of excellent fresh bread. It was a sweet... More

The food is amazing! We had a portion of mussels, oysters, crab claws, honey roast crab, pizza with ham, banoffi pie, chocolate cake, and ice cream. The mussels and oysters and duck were amazing!!!! Compared to them the crab claws weren't that special but still very good. The pizza had a thin crust and a good cheese to sauce ratio;... More

Went there to grab some lunch on the way to the cliffs of moher. Mussels were alright as well as the lamb and the seafood pasta. The service was friendly but certainly lacked some English language skills.

We arrived to Doolin on the night of the bank holiday but didn't made a reservation to a restaurant and all was packed. We stepped in and although it was full, surprisingly a table for four was made available to us. The place didn't have a smell of burnt oil and the menu was diversified and even offered pizza! The... Went in on my annual trip to Doolin. As great as I have always thought Doolin is, I must recommend this place for a morning or afternoon meal. Tea or coffee, muffins or scones, you cannot go wrong. So very easy to sit and relax in this spot.

Ordered seafood pasta and was served what was certainly frozen seafood from a packet complete with seafood extender! Was not expecting that given the sign out the front that said "always fresh seafood". To top it off, it lacked flavour and seasoning. My partner ordered duck and I'm almost certain it was deep fried. The pizza might be better, but... More

An above average restaurant well away from Doolin proper, specials are highlighted on a outside marque, the menu is more inclusive and does include pizza if I remember correctly

On good luck passed the restaurant on return of our trip trough the Burren. Their board with the meals at the side of the road attracted us. All members of our family were very satisfied with their meals. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was cosy, small and quiet with a nice atmosphere.

Interesting fare, able to serve all 15 of us at once, we even went back for take-out. Friendly, and accommodating staff.
