Very good pastry and a fresh made to order breakfast. It's a small place and little more expensive the the pubs offering the breakfast in town. Also one morning our service lady could have put a smile on her face. Wasn't her day. The food was good though and the place has its own cuteness different from a pub. We... More

We passed by Doolan café on our way to the cliffs of Moher. Craving for some coffee we decided to enter this little charm. It turns out that this cozy café serves excellent coffees and offers a great variety in homemade cakes. We both took the carrot cake with whipped cream and berry jam which were both served with a... Stopped here for breakfast, cafe is lovely. Very homely and inviting and staff were friendly. My son had waffles with bacon and he really enjoyed it. I had scrambled egg and so did my husband. Wasn't very impressed at all, eggs came in one big lump, real sign they had been thrown in the microwave. They didn't taste great, very... More

After walking the Cliffs of Mohar we dropped down into Doolin as we had heard it was a great spot for Irish music and thought we would check it out for the coming evening. We were directed by the local Tourist Office to this lovely little café and had a really nice late lunch - light quiche and salad followed... More

Visitting this part of Ireland, I stopped to have a cuppa at this Cafe, at the food counter, it was written Coffee + hazelnut cake, sit in 4.50 euros, I thought it is a good deal, I ordered it, asking tea instead of coffee, to be honest the cake was not really good, it was stale, my first impression was... We had a great breakfast. I had the poached eggs florentine and they were the best I've ever had. The brown soda bread was homemade. Also has a great dessert offering for late afternoon tea.

We had lunch today at Doolin Cafe and loved it! My quiche was fluffy and flavorful and my daughter loved her vegetable roll. The raspberry chocolate brownie we shared was one of the best brownies we've ever had. I can't recommend this charming little cafe enough. The prices are reasonable too!
