Visited recently in a group for a family celebration. We all loved the food and I felt tge service was second to none. Most of our party chose pastas and one or two went for steaks. The steak I had has to be one of the finest I have ever tasted and was also well-cooked. This was my first time... More

hale were invited to sample a Sunday Roast ‘Piccolino Style’ (but good to know the everyday lunch menu is also available). Valeria and her staff welcomed us and we chose to sit at the front of the large restaurant in the covered terraced area. Unfortunately it was not a sunny hot day and the roof was on keeping away the... More

Went here fior my husbands 80th and as there were 14 people we asked for the private room upstairs which has a round table for maximum 14 people and the food, service etc., was excellent - will be booking it again for my 75th birthday.

I went to this restaurant with my partner and his family on a Saturday night. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff equally so. The food itself I would rate 6/10 (10 being Michelin star). The main problem here was the noise! I literally could not hear what the people on my table were saying, I understand it was... More

Such a disappointing evening, we just didn't feel the food was up to scratch. It's quite glitzy, with a DJ, on a Friday night - youngish crowd - and we expected better. Friend's starter and main sent back, lots of pasta, not enough seafood and so little technique involved.

Have had two recent visits here, food better than in past years for us, really enjoyed the sharing platter, very good special of whole sea bass and fair priced house wine. Agree with other reviews that refurbish is due.

Just love this place. It never fails to meet expectation. Sharing platter of meats and cheeses along with tomato garlic bread to start. I fancied a crab pasta dish and asked for a recommendation which I went with. Service is incredible and sets this place apart for me.

We eat at piccolinos fairly regularly, Hale and other locations , the Hale branch now feels dated compared to the other locations which have been refurbished over the last few years and the food feels like it has dipped as well. Calamari a bit greasy Prawn linguine lacked punch Veal just not great Combined with young children running around and... More

Food was excellent!!! The services was good other than the staff seem to ran around like they are on roller skates. Which is off putting and the restaurant is loud downstairs. Reasonably priced and wine list was good.

We hadn't been to Piccs for a few years despite it being the first restaurant we hit as we drive in from Knutsford. The reasons were that we were usually disappointed with the meal, the service, the noise and the price. We were invited to lunch here last month and we had the most wonderful time and thought we should... More
