This restaurant popped up on an app I use to find vegetarian-friendly restaurants. It did not disappoint! The food was incredibly flavorful and the prices were very affordable. This place is awesome. The service is tremendous. I went in once and the owner was working the register and talking to a customer. The customer didn't know what they wanted but were leaning toward the classic choices--he offered her anything else and promised that...if she didn't like it he would make her something more familiar. That's a bold promise to make a customer, but he really cared about sharing his food with her. I've gone a few times, both eat in and take out, and have tried about half the menu and there's nothing on that menu that isn't delicious. There's no other place quite like Cairo 2 Go in Morgantown and it isn't just the Egyptian cuisine, it is staff who care about sharing their food with the community. I found this place while doing a web search for unique restaurants in Morgantown. It is in a relatively new upscale shopping center. I am a huge fan of Middle Eastern food and this place didn’t disappoint. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma plate and a...wrap as well. Both were well seasoned and authentically prepared. The plate had tons of rice with a large serving of meat. The wrap was made with tannour bread. Prices are very reasonable as well.More
