The goat was burnt and the fried potatoes were burnt and cold. We complained and they said us that the potatoes were brown because they were of this kind. The wild boar was not so good and the wild mushrooms were fried in bad oil and were not at all delicious. The only good dish was the "horta". On the... More

Even fron the first day, the first recommendation that we got was Meintani, mrs Niki's kitchen! Entering the place you immediately understand why they are recommending it. One or two pots are placed on the traditional stove next to us, spreading a delicious smell in the air. It is mrs Niki's dishes of the day which I totally recommend. Meintani... More

All year and all day (it seems) taverna which is popular with locals and visitors. Well prepared dishes based on local produce and traditional recipes. Prices are reasonable. The bulk wine blends in with the food and the atmosphere. A recommendable taverna. The salads, the horta and eggs, the veggie mini burgers (keftedes) were particularly delicious.

Nilki's tavern in Zagora is a real Greek institute. Home made Greek Pelion specialties and advert personal touch and service . Do not miss seating in the balcony to a moonlight view on the Aegean Sea with Tispiro and Zukini balls . A real great place

If you pass by this little tavern, you may not even notice it. But notice it you should as it serves some exceptional dishes. You should try this one if you wish to taste GOOD, fresh and inexpensive local cuisine. You get to eat really fresh food (oh boy, were those tomatoes in the salad superb!) in traditional dishes, while... More

We climbed up from Horefto, approx 6km am 600m altitude difference. We met this small cosy place and it was just great! We had small bites of food. Incredible is a special ones: fried zuchinni flowers stuffed with cheese. Just great! Worth to try it! Really😊

Niki, the owner, cooks and treats you as your mom does, or at least should do :). Very near to St George's church, on the main street. We tried some not so often stuff, like roasted goat and wild pig. The goat was unbelievable, even my 8 years old daughter eat it! the wild pig was nice, but to be... More

On our first day in Zagora we were sent there by the owner of the place in which we stayed, we loved it. On our second day in Zagora we were sent there by a local who didn't know we already have been there. We found our self eating there 3 times, and always loving it. The food is fresh... More

We were there in Mid July 2016, group Of 10 friends, just looking for somewhere to go out and eat outside of the beautiful house we were staying at. Our hosts recommended this restaurant and i don't like that phrase, here in Tripadvisor, but a MUST VISIT place. If you want to be warmly welcomed, to feel the spirit and... More
