At Guesthouse Krivograd, within our "A la Carte" restaurant, you can discover authentic Carinthian dishes or sample international and mediterranean fish cuisine. In the local surroundings you can find ski slope Peca. There is also the old mine Mežica which offers cycling, kayaking or walking tours, and for the mountain bike enthusiasts a single trail park Jamnica. The guesthouse offers 20 rooms, each with a bathroom, and a total capacity for 60 guests.

we saw the reviews fot this restaurant and decided to give it shot. in short this is the solid place where soups, schnitzel and seafood were very good. the prices are reasonable and the service was excellent. it is run by a family. based on our first experience here we will return here the next time we need a spot for lunch or dinner

Nice outside dining and the wait staff was attentive. Food came out quick and tasted like home-made. They took my friend's allergies into consideration. Well-behaved dogs are welcome here.

Not knowing what to expect we arrived to this restaurant. We ordered "Lonec na Buzaro" and "Medaljone v vinsko čebulni omaki" and it was delicious. The staff was really nice and took care of us like kings. On top of all of that the prices were pretty cheap and it was totally worth it

Everything what we ordered was delicious. Our kids were satisfied, which is usually not a case. I reccomend this restaurant. Also waitress was very pleasant, this is for us also important.

Went here and had a meal, which was very good value for money. Workeres were friendly and dishes were tasty. It's always busy so that is a sign of quality also.

I went do the restaurant to meet some friends. The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious. Great place to bring family and friends. Definitely a restaurant to visit again.

If you are in the area please do yourself a favor and stop by this local eatery. You will not be disappointed. The food is delicious and fresh prepared. Definitely returning in the future.

We stayed at their hotel and dined there each evening. Very kind and fast service, high class of food, lots of choices, all plates very tasty. Prices are fair. All in all , if you stay in guesthouse Krivograd do not spend additional time searching for another place to eat!

We was there for lunch. Soup was full of natrium glutamate, meat was overburned. They claiming that they must overburned meat because of some standards. My opinion is that these is excuse for lack of cooking knowledge. Salad was fresh few days ago.
We eat in many restorants and we wasn't poisoned with good prepared meals.
We complained, but that's the maximum quality they can offer. We also get stomach problems.
If you are hungry it's better to go to Hofer and buy something.
I think that they written good reviews by themself.
We didn't liked experience. We won't be back and don't recommend that place to nobody.

Thank you again for bringing this issue to our attention. As already discussed in our previous conversations, we apologize your experience didn’t match your expectations. We do understand your frustrations and dissapointments.
Our family restaurant opened its doors 25 years ago. Customer satisfaction has always been a top priority. We show our guests they’re valued and treat them with respect. Guests respect us too. Sadly, but your review is filled out with some disrespectful and insolent statements.
Guests love our beef-broth with homemade noodles, homemade frittati or homemade Carinthian dumplings. Cooking our soup is very traditional, just like grandmas made. Adding some poisonous flavor enhancer? Sorry, but your disclosure is mistaken! The real reason and the only truth was "the matter of taste" - your lady left the soup because she didn't like the combination cottage cheese in the soup, as she explained. (Beef-broth with Carinthian cottage cheese dumplings is local specialty according to old recipe.)
Grilled turkey fillet on mixed salad was your main course. Your plate was empty; not a single radicchio leave left, not a single piece of meat left. "Empty plate = good sign," that's why our staff was surprised hearing your critisism about overburned meat and stale radicchio. We're sorry for your stomack upset. We're taking this very seriously and try to discern the validity of the complaint. Meat was prepared correctly, all ingredients were fresh and secure, Chef respected HACCP and acrylamide standards. With all due respect, Sir, we don't think "food poisoning" was the case!
In 25 years in the hospitality business we also learned the psychology, we know how to read guest's personality. Time to time we have to deal with disgruntled customers, who just cannot be pleased. It is impossible to please everyone and to make everyone happy. We are only people!

We eat here every time when in Koroška. Location just off main road, big parking space, children's playground with the swing, outdoor tables to soak up the sun or covered terrace to cool yourself. The staff is always welcoming. Great selection of food. We have never been dissapointed!

This is restaurant in my hometown. I love it, it's been good since I was a child.
On the menu there is something to suit most people. Garlic soup, plum medallions, blueberry pancake are my favourites.
It is better to make a reservation, especially at the weekends because they are likely to be crowded. However, we always had a good service, despite being popular and busy for lunchtimes.

We found out about this place thanks to TripAdvisor and recommendations from the locals. We were not dissappointed, but glad to arrived there.
Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had a seafood and garlic soup, stuffed calamaries and spicy »devil's« steak, and homemade »štruklji« as dessert.
Highly recommended if you are in the area!
