As part of our stay in the beautiful Powerscourt Hotel we had dinner in the Sika Restaurant. Excellent service, nothing was too much of a problem. Food was really good and a amazing wine list. Looking forward to returning!

We had dinner on Friday night at the Sika restaurant. The menu is deceptively simple. It more than delivers, with some wonderful flavours and looks. We had the pleasure of being well looked after by our Italian waiter, who kept us feeling happy, relaxed and guided us where needed in terms of drinks pairing. This was a highlight, a pleasant... The Sika breakfast buttet, with hot and cold foods, is extensive. It is populated with fruits, grains, cereals, pasties, breads, eggs, meats, dairy, and drinks. There was no posting showing how much breakfast cost. I indulged myself. The charge was on my checkout statement. 28 euro! More than twice what other establishments charged. Dinner at the upstairs lodge with wine... More

Breakfast doesn't come cheap here at almost €30 per person. The question is, is it worth it? First off all staff I've met here are very friendly and helpful. There is free WiFi here if you need it. There is a huge selection of hot and cold food for the buffet breakfast. Choose between scrambled, boiled or fried free range... More

After reading the review on 21st Jan I was a bit apprehensive about eating in Sika. Boy was that review wrong. The standard of food was extremely good and well presented. I had the Chicken and my husband had the Venison, it was so good we booked again 2 days later. When we checked in we were just chatting to... More

1 star! And this is only because the staff were wonderful. The food on the other hand was terrible. The quality certainly doesnt match the prices. My friend ordered medium/well done steak it came rare (with blood). The accompanying sauces were really an acquired taste or just plain rotten! 5 chips were served woth the steak and some green leaves... More

Most unexpected really good food for a "hotel " restaurant ! Seasonal food cooked with care and passion ! Wine list a little on the expensive side but the food was amazing ! Would highly recommend the venison when in season !

This is one of the loveliest restaurants in Wicklow but its only 40 minutes from Dublin City Centre so a drive is justified. The (new) menu has lots of choice yet is easy to follow and make your decision. All the ingredients are locally farmed, fished or produced. Lovely friendly service is consistent. The wine choices are excellent and they... More
