Food was delicious and service impeccable. A harpist played during dinner and the entire experience was relaxing and special. The dining room was comfortable, beautiful and the staff was welcoming, kind and friendly. A+ for Dromoland dining!

Are at all the restaurants including high end Earl of Thomond while staying here. Had sterling service and consistently great food. Prices are steep but not as bad as I've seen elsewhere and you get what you pay for.

I'm sorry, this just wasn't for me. My friends were all thrilled with the experience of the place. I'm probably not 'girl' enough and it wasn't my choice. I could not get excited at the mediocre sandwiches and cakes and the fuss of the serving was definitely not for me. While some of the furnishings and Windows looked very grand,... More

Went with my girlfriends, lovely atmosphere with lots of other tables full with other parties. (plenty of men there as well). It really added to the atmosphere. The staff were super, helpful but not in the way. Very very good value for where you are. Can't wait to go again

Gross bathroom, basic rooms. Nothing special. There are many castles in Ireland. Skip this one. I am sure they stay in business because of the proximity to Shannon Airport. The common areas, hallways, lobby are all in need of restoration/renovation to bring the inside of the property up to the outside. The grounds are very pretty. My daughter wants to... More

We went here for a afternoon tea and enjoyed the fab food. Very well presented and tasty. The selection of food was well picked. I love the staffs there as they are elegant and polite. They gave a lovely teddy to my daughter and she was delighted! I have to say the piano artist is brilliant. He picked the most... More

We had high tea while staying at the castle and it was a treat. I had to beg my husband to come - he thought it was girlie. But once we sat down and he saw ALL THE food that came and kept coming he was smiling from ear to ear. The service was 5 star and we had to... More

We did not dine in the formal dining room...  we had salads in the bar/lounge. The food was very good and the casual ambience was terrific. Breakfast was included and the was a sumptuous buffet... there was also an amazing menu to select from. A breakfast like that is a treat and will take you through the day

This is by far the best and most elegant place to eat in the Limerick-Ennis area. The food is locally sourced, in season and well prepared. Choose what you like from the menu and it will be good. On this particular dinner occasion we had delicious scallops in bacon, veal, pan fried John Dory and lamb. Please make room for... More

We had Tea at the Castle. This is a must have while in Ireland. That was a great experience. The tea sandwiches were very taste.
