Consistently good food in a great setting with very friendly staff, never disappointed after a visit. My only negative would be the dessert menu is a little limited and could be shaken up a bit now and then.

The Copper Hen is set in a rural location near the busy tourist and beach area Tramore, the area is busy as it has a lovely kids playground, activity farm and lovely walks. The Copper Hen is a lovely little country bar and the restaurant is set upstairs, the decor and atmosphere are lovely. The food was of an extremely... More

I was in Fenor with my wife and just chanced a visit. We hadn't planned anything. It was really pleasant. The staff were natural with no pomp .We just had starters as we were not there for a meal in the first place. It was a very relaxing experience and we plan to return there.

Visited this restaurant on a Thursday night and it was actually very full. Very pleasant feel about it. Starter of mussels was very tasteless, I know mussels in white wine is going to be watery but should have an abundance of taste this had no taste at all, this isn't only negative on the food served here. I did mention... More

Lovely surroundings and good food. Set menus are good value for two or three courses. Gluten free options available. Restaurant is upstairs and there's a cosy pub downstairs. Some on street parking outside.

Hadn't booked anywhere and this place was fully booked, I asked if they could fit us in as most of their tables were occupied from 2pm on, they kindly obliged which was great. Crab linguine was super, very delicate for a pasta starter. Hake was so yum, but the accompanying sauce was lush, could have licked the plate, my one... More

Gorgeous food.. a little off the beaten track but worth the trip! I had tiger prawns in cream sauce to start followed by an amazing pork belly dish.. The sticky toffee pudding ended a sublime meal. I'll be back!

Visited the Copper Hen last Wednesday. Crab linguine to start was superb. Ann had the cod main, I had the turbot. Both excellent. Rachel attended our table and was great. Fab

Stopped in for Sunday lunch late afternoon as had heard a lot about this place. My other half had been here a while back and loved it so we thought it would be the place for a nice meal on the way home. They had only 1 John Dorey left so I went for beef. I had a soup starter... More
