Another visit with friends over from UK. One of our friends chose a meal with Colcannon, which we explained was basically mashed Potatoes with Cabbage and Onion mixed in, ( there are variations , Kale instead of Cabbage for example) so we were rather surprised when the meals arrived to find mashed potatoes with onion in them and the cabbage... We arrived in Tramore early evening off the ferry. Our landlady at the B&B recommended this pub when we said we wanted so,etching local with good food and music if possible. We weren't disappointed. The service was good so,was the food. A local, band arrived to play @ 9pm. Where local musicians added to the play. The Uliean pipes being played... More

Were there 6 hours ago. Really fancied chowder, this place came highly rated. We had chowder and fish pie, had a very funny oily taste. Place is really cool, loads to look at. Thought the staff were very ok. We had two kids with us, they were happy enough but I thought the food was overpriced and of a low... More

There is a large choice of normal offerings and now Mexican food also. Has a lot of nooks and crannies to hide away in. Has a wooden finish with a lot nick nacks around. The service can be a little slow and unfocused.

Went the other night with a couple of friends, we went in and two friends purchased pints. Within minutes the bar man was over saying "If you don't have a drink get out". I usually get settled into a pub and go get my pint in my own time. Having someone come up forcing me to buy a pint at... More

Food was great and atmosphere inside and out traditional Irish pub and restaurant. Also has great seating if they are busy you should be able to get a seat. Also has friendly staff and good service.

Whilst the pub has a vintage feel with props from so many eras it has plenty of TV's to watch matches and has a varied and modern menu. I've been there twice on two different visits to Tramore and fully intend to go there again. I was there for food one Sunday and watched a match there on a Saturday... More

Typical Irish - friendly people and very good food. Special Ambiente with decoration from everywhere. I guess it's known by the locals but it's somehow a little treasure.
