Am delighted there are still some "old fashioned" bakery shops/coffee shop. Very good cup of coffee and cake. What more could you want when you are on the road to the North

Walking up the street in Cavan we came on the Melbourne Bakery, so we dropped in for tea and scones, it was very busy always a good sign as the locals always find the best places to go. Very friendly staff and great scones next time in Cavan we know where to go

overcharging is commonplace here and if you question it you are made to feel stupid even when you are right, food not great either, it's just ok

Went for lunch with my girls. Ordered a French connection panini and coffee. Only downside I had was the wait but it was lunch time on Saturday and busy. Staff seemed nice enough but could be a bit more pleasant. I would go again but not my first choice for dining. Decor could be updated.

Ordered buns to take away here recently. Staff member serving me was polite. Selection of pastries was very good. We ordered two different types of buns. I was asked whether we were dining in or taking out. I responded taking out but was shocked when we were charged dining in prices. The bun I had tasted terrible - It was... More
