A group of six of us recently stopped in this place and we all ordered the fish and chips. The fresh cod was very lightly battered - tempura style. It was really good and very fresh. My only complaint was no vegetables were served. Some mushy peas would have went down a treat. I will go back.

We made a stop on our way to Donegal and found this restaurant by chance. Unfortunately we were the only guests in the afternoon but the quality of the food: seafood chowder, roast beef and chicken salad sandwiches all lovely and the price was excellent. Staff friendly just sad they had such a small amount of customers they deserve more.

My husband , myself and 1 year old daughter stopped for lunch in this hidden gem of a restaurant. We were met by a very friendly waiter , who was extremely attentive to our needs, and portrayed the menu fantastically to us. We had the battered killybegs cod and homemade chips! And all I can say is....YUM, homemade tarter sauce... More

Visiting area from England. A change of plan lead us here and we were very pleased it did. Although we were too late for the early special deal of 2 courses for €20 we were allowed to choose from this menu when we asked - I think it helped we were a party of 8. The food arrived really promptly... More

Visited here on a random midweek evening and we couldn't fault it. My husband had the steak and he described it as very good. Left nothing on the plate which is always a good sign. I had the salmon with steamed fresh vegetables and it was delicious. Wine was reasonably priced and very good. (We had the chardonnay). Service was... More

For the price of our meal I expected better quality, kids burgers were frozen possibly purchased in the shop next door. Lovely surroundings and restaurant finished to a high standard, however the smell of deep fat fryers was atrocious! Obviously not been cleaned and filled with fresh oil in months or years!! No one else in restaurant but ourselves, whilst... More

Roadside modern restaurant. Had lunch in Black & White, the lunchtime café. Little custom Tuesday lunchtime. Very pleasant soup and pasta with carbonara sauce, with a little bacon and mushroom. Both very good, and courteous service. No complaints.
