Wonderful restaurant in beautiful area of Ireland. Fine dining, premier service, a break from Irish pub fare. Call ahead for researchers.

Very tasty, well presented dishes. The soups (Velouté) were most exquisite, I should know as I tasted 7 evenings of different ones. The young chef is publicity shy, and you will not get to meet him, but his food is well worth a trip. There are also some reasonably priced wines as well as fancier ones. The service by the... More

The menu is a mix of old world Ireland meets new world fusion- turning time honored dishes on their head in innovative and delicious ways. Locally grown meat, fish and veggies artfully prepared- we experienced cauliflower creamed soup, fresh halibut, local cheeses and fabulous sweets for deserts. Full bar, good wine selections. Great and friendly service.

We stopped in one afternoon while we were out for a drive. We were welcomed by the staff and spent a lovely hour in the Corkscrew Bar nursing Irish coffees while staring out the window at the beautiful grounds and nearby mountains. We have stopped in before on previous visits to Ireland, and the staff have always been friendly and... More

The breakfast was beyond expectations, smoked salmon, local cheeses and meats, farm fresh eggs, great service, more choices than were possible to eat in one sitting. I looked forward to getting up in the morning. The dinners were so beautiful that I took pictures of the food before I tasted it. We also had high tea in the bar and... More

During a recent weekend visit, we dined on two evenings in Gregans Castle Restaurant and enjoyed lunch from the Corkscrew Bar on another day (dinner on Sunday evenings is served in the Corkscrew Bar rather than the dining room). On both evenings, we greedily consumed the menu with our eyes, imagining the delights that lay ahead. The creative hand (yet... More
