Excellent Service but food was good not amazing as expected. Portion of main course was ridiculously small. Cant fault service though - highly efficient and friendly without being fussy or snobby

Gregans Castle restaurant was superb. My husband and I had the best meal we've ever encountered (and that's comparing Gregans Castle to Ashford Castle where we stayed for 2 nights). Our dining experience was limited to several tables allowing for a very attentive experience. Our waiter, Shane, was charming and informative. The food was unparalleled and the ambiance just lovely.... More

Best dinner so far in ireland. I had the foie gras and then the halibut with a potato ravioli. Exceptional flavour combinations. Delicate dishes that we trully could not fault. The amuse bouche (salmon) was lovely and finaly a black currant soufle. The portions were just right. All plates went back to the kitchen wiped clean. Service was great. If... More

Wonderful restaurant in beautiful area of Ireland. Fine dining, premier service, a break from Irish pub fare. Call ahead for researchers.

Very tasty, well presented dishes. The soups (Velouté) were most exquisite, I should know as I tasted 7 evenings of different ones. The young chef is publicity shy, and you will not get to meet him, but his food is well worth a trip. There are also some reasonably priced wines as well as fancier ones. The service by the... More

The menu is a mix of old world Ireland meets new world fusion- turning time honored dishes on their head in innovative and delicious ways. Locally grown meat, fish and veggies artfully prepared- we experienced cauliflower creamed soup, fresh halibut, local cheeses and fabulous sweets for deserts. Full bar, good wine selections. Great and friendly service.

We stopped in one afternoon while we were out for a drive. We were welcomed by the staff and spent a lovely hour in the Corkscrew Bar nursing Irish coffees while staring out the window at the beautiful grounds and nearby mountains. We have stopped in before on previous visits to Ireland, and the staff have always been friendly and... More
