My husband and I stopped for dinner--the fish chowder is OUTSTANDING! We decided to stretch our last beer to listen to live music at 10pm. What a wonderful treat! Authentic music with local crowd. Thanks Keene's!

Ate here on our first night in the village. Good food served with a warm welcome. Friend ate the chowder, I had the goats cheese tart and fries.

A hearty veggie soup with brown bread, and the fried crumbed Brie. Delicious. Clean and cosy inside, lovely staff. A good place to stop if your passing through this way.

Great food, friendly atmosphere. Always a warm welcome and something going on. Best pub in Oranmore. Lovely fire, real traditional Irish pub and locals always willing to chat and have a bit of craic. Great spot for lunch, dinner or few drinks. Kids are more than catered for oh and best chowder in Galway

Stopped in to get out of the rain and are we glad we did. We had dinner first with Salmon and Roast beef, very good and plentiful portions. Then we went into the Pub and within minutes the traditional music started and it was fantastic. We stayed until late..

The food is great with excellent value for kid's small roast portion. My 2 kids always clean their plates! The staff are lovely too. Ideal spot for family Sunday lunch! Crayons and colouring books provided for smallies too!

The food was lovely, although the seafood chowder and plaice with chips left a very positive impression. The staff were excellent, even if you were not watching they ensured that the specials board was within eyesight. They also checked how we were doing a few times. Will return.

I went here again last Sunday and realised I eat here about once a month but never did review. Anyways, the place was very busy but a table was available fairly quickly. Staff were very good, friendly, efficient and helpful. We ordered 2 pasta bowls with chicken goujons for the kids, chicken goujons with salad and chips for wife and... More

Keanes is a great spot to visit when in the area. Life music is available some nights. The bar area is attractive and offers tables as well as the bar. Food is available in the bar or in the modern updated dining room which is bright and comfortable.
