We decided to try this restaurant as we had had lunch in the downstairs restaurant and enjoyed it. We went last Sunday night and got a table in the conservatory which had a lovely view of seafront. My cousin has special dietary requirements but she was able to find something suitable. I had vegetable lasagne and it was lovely. I... More

We ate in the bistro two nights, really impressed on both occasions. The staff had a great attitude, nothing too much trouble, very relaxed but utterly professional. Food was high end bar food but really reasonably priced. Defiantly would return here again. Try and book in advance as it gets busy.

I had a meal here on Monday the 1st of February with a group of friends for a birthday meal and I have to say I could not fault anything. The menu had some many choices and the staff were nothing but helpful and charming. Theresa looked after us so well and Kate was so lovely and full of chat.... More

There was plenty of space as there were 4 couples and 7 children. We were seated upstairs. There was no view as we we in the very back of the restaurant. The food was good and the portions were large. Child menu was good.

Dear Mark, Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We really appreciate your great feedback about our food. Our tables overlooking the seafront book out very quickly but we hope next time you will be able to enjoy them. Kind regards, Robyn More

Went here during the week for dinner with my wife and 3 year old. We were very disappointed with the food, cleanliness and service. The chips I got with my burger appeared and tasted as if they were reheated. We had to ask a second time for things like condiments and a children's drink which came with the children's meal.... Visited here on many occasions and it never disappoints. Latest visit was in the afternoon and even though it was not so busy all staff were totally focused and we had lovely fresh mushroom and spinach soup followed by roast beef with a superb stuffing served on a bed of divinely flavoured herb mash with superb vegetables and wonderful chips.... Excellent food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. I cannot fault it. The food was superb. I had the gourmet lamb burger which was truly delicious. My fiancee loved the chicken curry and my mum thought the vegetable lasagne was delicious as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
