Enjoyed every minute, from exploring the photos on the walls to experiencing the ambience of the back garden. The burger was divine. Emily gave exceptional service. “I’ll be back”.

Mikey Ryans is a nice, modern, well decorated dining space in the centre of Cashel. I have eaten here on six or seven occasions over the past years and unfortunately my experiences of this place have not been consistent. The main reason I go to...a restaurant/cafe is to eat good food in good company. Here it is hit or miss! This has resulted in some very disappointing meals with overly expensive price tags. On one occasion before Christmas, when visiting Cashel, I was treating some friends and family members to lunch. To say that I was embarrassed by the food presented is an understatement. It was tasteless and very overpriced. There was a vegetarian in the group and his meal was particularly disappointing and sparse. However, I have eaten some quite good meals here also. As yet I have not experienced a really excellent meal. Usually the staff are pleasant and well trained. But consistency in food quality is needed.More

We love stopping in Mikey Ryans when on the road through Cashel. The food and decor are fabulous and the staff so friendly. However, since our last visit our daughter (10) was diagnosed coeliac. This visit really brought home the limited choice for kids (and...adults) that cannot take gluten. On the kids menu she had no option other than the soup or the melon. She settled for mashed potato with plain chicken from the adult menu. How easy it would be to have the meatballs without breadcrumbs or the gravy without using flour to thicken. Maybe even some gluten free pasta in the press for little coeliac visitors! We still love coming and had an excellent meal other than this minor item. Perhaps with the opening of the Cashel Palace some chnages could be afoot…?More

We booked a table by phone in Mikey Ryan’s on Wednesday evening for New Year’s Eve and was delighted to get a table for 5:30 . We visited their website beforehand to check their a la carte menu and prices. We arrived at the restaurant...and observed the outside menu as per the website one. However, inside the restaurant we were presented with a set menu comprising of 4 courses for 75e . We were not informed at the time of booking that this was the case nor did it state this any where on their website . We asked was there an a la carte menu available and were told that this was the only menu for the night so we were very annoyed but reluctantly decided to stay. We understand that under consumer law, if a restaurant provides menus, then the prices should be the same as prices displayed outside or at the entrance. We feel we were duped into spending €75 each regardless of the number of courses we chose to eat.More

5 star lunch in this gorgeous place! Looks small from the outside, but what a surprise, great menu, stunning food, more like a beautiful bistro than a pub , everything about this place was great! A real hidden gem

Very good food’ in an outstanding atmosphere Service was a bit slow but it gives us the opportunity to enjoy the good food and was nice and very professional. Dessert was really tasty with the winter spices Thanks a lot !

We spent a super afternoon winning & dinning in the glass room at Mikey Ryans. Delicious food, excellent ambiance & magic service. In particular our assigned waiter Darragh was brilliant.

Coffee was average and only warm. Scone was brittle with no consistency and jam was runny. 3 coffees with scones and a baby chino, overpriced at €17.

Nice relaxing place, with a beautiful garden. Food is served in large quantities so save room for the dessert! Satt is okish

Ordered a burger with chips and salad. The burger was nice but the salad consisted of a leaf of lettuce and a very miniscule salad vegetable on the burger. The chips were a mixture of over and undercooked chips. Overpriced.

This restaurant was in the middle of town in Cashel. It was beautifully decorated and very welcoming with different areas and nooks. The lunch was delicious. We had the Cauliflower soup and the brown bread and Mimosas. Very enjoyable and very popular alos

Excellent place - great staff - very good menu and would not be out of place in either New York or London
