Having heard so many great things about the food in Jackie's, I booked a table for Sunday lunch on Sunday 19th June. I was offered a table at the 1pm or 3pm sitting so I choose the later sitting. We arrived just before 3pm and after waiting a few minutes we were seated, the restaurant gradually emptied out and by... More

An excellent choice for evening meals. We meet here a couple of times a year, and the service and food is always quality. The selection of homemade breads before your starters is a lovely tasty touch, don't miss out!

Amazing food! Hidden gem. Starter was simple old garlic bread with cheese, presentation was excellent. Surf and turf was just orgasmic. The steak was rare to perfection... But didn't compare to the beautiful crab claws and prawns sitting in a boat of creamy sauce. We will return. Great friendly staff

Had a table booked for 5pm, 6 people. Waited so long for each course it took away from the meal. Food was lovely but 30-40 minute wait in between each course is ridiculous. Waiting half an hour on desserts is ridiculous seeing as all we ordered was 3 brownies and a pavlova none of which take much prep. Would have... More

Food was great, beef skewers were presented beautifully and were excellent. Wine selection small but good. Waiter service excellent, only negative was the waitress was not so good and not up to the standard of the rest of the restaurant.

Visited here on recommendations for first time. The décor is a bit dated and reception area could do with a makeover. However, our food was really very good. I had the baked mushroom starter followed by prawn and crab in filo pastry. Both were fantastic, my friend had the beef which came on an elevated skewer, great presentation. My dessert... More
