Food was fine, value for money, the bar was ok, could do with an upgrade, but so could some other places in the area, very busy place, beautiful scenery, great drive on the coast road to Castletownbere

We came here every morning for breakfast without fail! Excellent breakfast. Full Irish including white and black pudding. Coffee or tea was inclusive of the price per person and they would re-fill as much as you want. €8 per person which was an amazing price. Recommended to anyone looking for breakfast in Glengarriff.

If you dodge the tour bus crowds, this friendly location serves hearty food with huge portions. Got a good tutorial on how to pull a pint. Would eat here again.

I was in glengarriff for a weekend with some elderly biker friends. We had an evening meal here and the variety of the food was just about ok but was very nice when it arrived. Some had fish, some had homemade burgers, beef. It was a nice clean place and very friendly and helpful staff. The few patrons at the... More

We had a lovely breakfast here. The food was cooked well, the service very good and all very reasonably priced. We also visited here for drinks a couple of times and on one evening there was music, the atmosphere was lovely and all the locals very friendly. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

We had a wonderful smoked salmon salad, and did a Stout taste test, trying all three choices. Very friendly bartender.

I have stayed here on MANY occassions and i have NEVER had a problem. The staff are lovely, food is good and wholesome and a great price and accomodation is great. Great for a weekend away with the family or friends. The accomodation is away from the main bar so it is peaceful, but you are still on the same... More

The Cottage Bar and restaurant is a nice friendly place. The whole place is a bit basic but the food is quite good with a varied menu and very large portions. There is a lovely seating area outside to watch the world go by.
