Visited this restaurant on a recommendation and was not disappointed. The service was excellent and came with an in depth knowledge of the menu. Only drawback was the poor choice of beers available. We would certainly return.
Visited here Monday night. The waitress told us the early bird wasnt available even though it stated it on the menu. Then told us it was grand we could order it. Partner asked for medium steak it came out very over cooked. Goats cheese starter was tasteless and dry. I dont like complaining about places but at the end of... More

Its keenly priced and we loved the wine. The staff were very friendly and accomodating to our 3 year old grand daughter. We will ne back and... More
Excellent food with the my choice being duck confit on a bed of red cabbage, best one I have ever ate. I go back there on occasions just for that one. Compliments for the chef.Nice surroundings of Athlone castle and river Shannon.

To which I outlined my concerns. Went on deaf ears and all I was asked was " was my desert nice". Won't be... More
This would be one of my favorite restaurants in athlone. We have eaten in here many times and is always good food and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's not an expensive place to eat either
