I rang them a few weeks before we went to Ireland to see if they could do an 30th wedding Anniversary Champaign breakfast for my sister and her husband. They pulled out all the stops, I was a bit nervous having never had chance to visit and it was a surprise for my sister and her husband, The staff couldn't... More

I've habitually visited Loaves and Fishes for the past five years whenever I'm out of town visiting or passing Athlone; I often even make a detour off the motorway into the town specifically to come here! The food always impresses, the decor is aesthetically pleasing, the service is friendly and timely and the value for money is good too. I'm... More

Book a table in case it’s busy! Well worth a trip to this cafe. I went with a group, including some veggies and everyone was pleased with their meal. The chicken and chorizo pasta was gorgeous. I had the mid-eastern mezzi plate (I can’t remember its title) but it was mouth watering good. Great coffee and friendly staff, tip top.

Find this place at random looking for a place for breakfast. Lovely small place. Quick and efficient service. Went with two small children who were well gathered for. Would definitely go again. Nice good size breakfast with good ingredients and fair value for money. Only down side were dirty toilets which are not part of the cafe but generally for... More

I was in the area and in a hurry for lunch. I dropped in and was served straight away. Had Cauliflower soup and it was sooo nice. I was pleasantly surprised. Great portion and fresh brown bread. There was even water provided as part of the service without needing to ask.The staff were very friendly and service was fast. Recommend

I was brought to Loaves and Fishes as a treat. And what a treat it was. The sandwich I ordered was more than I expected. It was freshly made and came with a side order of the nicest fries I have had in a long time. I would highly recommend Loaves and Fishes.
