An absolute gem of a restaurant with authentic Lebanese cuisine of the highest quality. It has a lovely ambience, helpful, friendly staff and food of the highest quality, which is not too hard on your wallet!

An absolute gem of a restaurant. Enjoyed the meal enormously. Very tasty. And not too expensive. It appears to be genuine Lebanese cooking.

Have eaten here regularly and always enjoyed. After my visit this weekend I will find it hard to visit again. The food was bland and tasteless, portions have decreased in size to the extent that my mains felt like a starter. Has the chef changed or what? Missed the English guy manager also. Very disappointing after bringing friends and telling... More

I have never eaten Lebanese food before but the owner of the Bastion B&B recommended it. Oh my gosh, I loved it! Wonderful surprise.

Went here on the recommendation of a stranger. How right she was. Delicious hummus, light airy bread, fantastic Dawood Basha, great rice. I over-estimated and ordered spicy potatoes as well as rice, but there was no need for them and most went uneaten. The rice was fantastic. The chefs clearly love what they do and they do it well. I... More

By the time we left four other tables had been served. The food was delicious. The value was excellent. I can't say enough about our waiter Neil. He was friendly,... More

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, has pleasant thematic music, and is extremely clean. The tables are old sewing machines, which I didn't realize until I put my feet on the treadle. The fatoush was so fresh and had beautifully balanced flavours, just the right amount of lemon and mint and sumac. Refreshing and crunchy. The haloumi was a generous... More
