We stopped in Lisdoonvarna on our first day in Ireland, what can we say? we discovered this beautiful pub close to our hotel and we decided to have good dinner there: very good irish stew and some pint of guinness and the dinner is done! nice and fast service, everything was good!

Driving through the area with an American business colleague on the 8th of August we stopped in for lunch. To say I was disappointed with the food is an understatement which was made all the worse because it is grossly over priced. I suggested to my colleague that we leave and go elsewhere down the town but he declined not... More

I called in here for a pint and ended up having a few because the Guinness was by far the best I've ever tasted! I came back later for dinner and tried the traditional Irish Bacon & Cabbage which really hit the spot. It was like being invited in to someone's house and getting a home cooked meal. Generous serving,... More

Reasonable food and reasonably priced. Good service. We tried the seafood chowder, which was very tasty. My sons had burgers, which were OK but nothing special.

Just had the one pint of Guinness here but it was good and I will call again. There were some Americans sitting around eating what seemed like Bacon and Cabbage, I did not want to seem rude looking more closely at their plates, they seemed to be enjoying it, some families there also eating.

Had a great meal in a traditional Irish Pub. Food was great and price was very reasonable. Lots of history inside and out. A real treat for a traveler who loves everything about Ireland.

Decided to stop off in lisdoonvarna with friends to watch the Ireland match. Greeted at the door by the manager/owner of some sort, spoke with a very patronising manner,he was extremely rude and refused us entry into the pub presumably because we were dressed in casual clothes. Would highly recommend not going here as I have never walked away from... More
