We managed to dine here just before they closed for the winter. Food was amazing, great presentation, local, seasonal, deliciously prepared.

Visited with a group for lunch. The food was of a very high quality and was the best meal of the four days. Any restaurant which can provide food of such high quality for such a large group is definitely due a return visit.

Our party of four was ignored for the first 20 minutes when we visited this restaurant, standing by the "Please Wait to be Seated" sign. Wait staff would walk right past us, averting their eyes. Finally, we were almost grudgingly given a table and after waiting another 20 minutes or so we gave up and left. Their whole attitude seemed... More

Food was good but the service was really poor. Staff seemed disinterested and bored, they forgot basic items like napkins. All waiting staff were waiting all the tables would have worked better if they were assigned an area of tables to serve.

This has to be one of the real gems in North Clare, for both food and accommodation. The garden rooms are spectacular, opening the door onto the garden lets you listen to the wind blowing through the trees. When it comes to food the Wild Honey Inn delivered some of the best food I've had recently, especially the smoked eel... More

The wild Honey Inn is a hotel with personality. Staying here is like staying with friends. It is very easy to imagine yourself whiling away a damp afternoon in the delightful Residents' Lounge which is amply supplied with reading material and a variety of board games. The bed room was very comfortable. The food was without doubt the best I have... More

I have a weird sense of where to eat, just passing by (Car, Bus, Walking etc) - I know it is the right place to eat. The Wild Honey did not disappoint, and is a great addition to my collection of great finds. We did not have a reservation, and they were booked, but was told that we could have... More

There is a fine hand at work in the kitchen at Wild Honey Inn where chef-proprietor, Aidan McGrath, prepares a seasonal menu to delight the palates of hungry diners. On a previous trip to the Burren, Wild Honey Inn was recommended to us as a "must go" place so we were delighted to have the opportunity to visit for dinner... More

Special night out on a long weekend in Clare and this bar/restaurant hit the spot. From the prosecco aperitif through onion risotto, John Dory and pineapple dessert it met and exceeded expectations. Didn't stay this time but as a "restaurant with rooms" it's on the list for another visit soon.

The Wild Honey Inn is impeccable. After staying in alright hotels, we were blown away by the hospitality, food, and accommodations. Our host, Kate, was so friendly and nice and the food is AMAZING. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Cliffs of Moher or is driving down the Wild Atlantic Way.
