We often eat here when walking in Howth harbour area. Always busy and popular. Worth the wait as the fresh fish is great.

The best cod fish and chips i've ever eaten. Even is a "fast food" restaurant, the food is very tasty.

Not much to say. This is, as us Dubs would say a "chipper". That's fish and chips fast food outlet in non Dublin slang. But a top notch chipper. One of the oldest family run businesses on the city. The shop in city centre is legendary. But the Howth version does not disappoint - try the scampi and chips drenched... More

Always get our fresh fish and chips and scampy there when we are in Howth. We eat it on the green opposite the shop as this is a takeway. Really great atmosphere!

I was in a hurry to return to Donegal with my wife after a weekend in Malahide. We decided to save time and get a takeaway Fish and Chip meal each and have in her Mothers house before we left. I was a bit dubious as my wife is Coeliac and it is not everywhere that caters for her tastes.... More

Im not really a fish and chips fan, but a local friend wanted to show me the best fish and chips in Ireland and UK and took me to this place, didn't want me to leave without trying it! And he was right, totally changed my opinion when coming to good fish and chips! Service was great too, nice people... More

My friend and I visited Beshoff's Market Restaurant for the fourth time yesterday. What a disappointment! On our previous visits we enjoyed good, fresh fish lunches, and prompt service, if a little abrupt at times. Yesterday unfortunately was a different story. We were there late Saturday afternoon, when the place was perhaps one quarter full. The first problem was the... More

Trip to Dublin would not be complete without a trip out to Howth a walk about and then to Beshoffs for scampi and chips. As it was lunch time we had the children's portions, made for wonderful viewing point to look out over to Ireland's eye and quite happily scoffed the lot!!! We will be back! Best fish ever.

First time eating in Beshoffs and it won't be the last.. had the small bites hake prawns and squid all deep fried and lightly battered and was very tasty indeed accompanied by a large bowl of hone made chips and a fab glass of Sauvignon blanc!!!! Scrumptious lunch and the excellent friendly service can't fault the place!!!

Thank Nicola P
