I quite enjoyed my seafood salad but my wife thought her pasta was not good. Our vegetarian friends had no more than the usual trouble finding something good.

Booked Trade winds for a meal last week for a very large group. Wasn't sure how it would work out given that there was already a group booking for the same night but I have to say, I couldn't find fault. The food was excellent and catered for several various dietary requirements in the group, the service was fast and... More

Because the service is slow. They need more help. The food on the other hand was good to excellent. The beef medallions were very well prepared. The stuffed filet also was excellent. My cheese covered salmon was perhaps not a great choice, but was at least unique. The presentation was nice for all meals.

Impressive bar food menu but great restaurant upstairs with lovely views of the town and sea. Outstanding value for money, not holding back on portions. Seafood tasted as if chef had line cast from kitchen.

The restaurant was busy downstairs and we were told that they were full. (But they weren't). Once we got seated and the waiter was able to slowdown, this was really good. Worth the wait. I would come back. They do need more help. 👍🏽

This is an old style, old fashioned restaurant offering four course meals. It reminds me of dining 20 years ago, good wholesome food, simple, not extraordinary but ok.

I have eaten here before and it was good. It was fairly busy when we visited but that doesn't excuse poor service, painfully slow which was disappointing. Obviously needs more staff. The food was good when we got it but the waiting spoiled the meal.

We had lunch here on Friday. After been refused elsewhere, the trade winds were very accommodating of our daughters assistance dog. On to the food, the choice was excellent, service was very good and that chicken and bacon salad was very tasty

Food fantastic.....mussels excellent...fish and chips excellent...kitchen a wee bit slow....but worth the wait. Disappointed in a smaller beer selection for a pub....a lot of American stuff I can get at home. We had a Murphys ,and a Guinness...no blond beers on draft....our server was very kind and attentive.
