One of the few restaurants where food and service are consistently excellent. The menu is altered seasonally and there are options for every taste. The staff are friendly, professional and dedicated. Trade winds may be considered expensive but it is worth it, there is also an extensive wine menu or you can order from the bar. It's the go to... More

Visited as a group on business. There were a lot of us, so were accommodated across three tables. Food was really good, and the portions were bordering on over generous. Dietary needs (coeliac, fish/shellfish allergy) were dealt with sensitively and in a knowledgeable manner. Staff were really friendly, and my only small criticism was that no bread was available to... More

What a lovely restaurant. We choose a formal A La Carte dinner upstairs but a bar menu was still available downstairs. Garlic prawns were superb as were the fish cakes. Filet Steak was perfectly cooked and the main course of a hot fish selection was a pure joy. We enjoyed the food and the service was friendly and very welcoming.... More

We ate downstairs in the Pub our first night in Cobh from a recommendation. Upstairs is the restaurant and pricier than the Pub food. The food and service were very good and the hostess, Jackie was very friendly.

We popped by one night after nine wondering if they could facilitate us for a bite to eat and it was no problem. Many other establishments near by stopped taking orders before 9. We went upstairs to the restaurant and we're offered the bar and restaurant menu. While service was slow - ie we waited a long time for our... More

The upstairs was full so we had a wonderful dinner downstairs by the window in the bar. The waiter was very busy running up and down the stairs, but very tentative to us. The food was wonderful and very tasty. Nice choices on the menu and nice brews on tap too. Great place for dinner.

Lovely bar menu, lovely staff. Very busy on the evening we visited, both downstairs and upstairs was full of diners, there was large group dining upstairs. We were seated to table without a wait. After a few minutes we were asked to move the table in order to aid the service of the large group. After ordering, we waited a long... More
