The restaurant was busy downstairs and we were told that they were full. (But they weren't). Once we got seated and the waiter was able to slowdown, this was really good. Worth the wait. I would come back. They do need more help. 👍🏽

This is an old style, old fashioned restaurant offering four course meals. It reminds me of dining 20 years ago, good wholesome food, simple, not extraordinary but ok.

I have eaten here before and it was good. It was fairly busy when we visited but that doesn't excuse poor service, painfully slow which was disappointing. Obviously needs more staff. The food was good when we got it but the waiting spoiled the meal.

We had lunch here on Friday. After been refused elsewhere, the trade winds were very accommodating of our daughters assistance dog. On to the food, the choice was excellent, service was very good and that chicken and bacon salad was very tasty

Food fantastic.....mussels excellent...fish and chips excellent...kitchen a wee bit slow....but worth the wait. Disappointed in a smaller beer selection for a pub....a lot of American stuff I can get at home. We had a Murphys ,and a Guinness...no blond beers on draft....our server was very kind and attentive.

One of the few restaurants where food and service are consistently excellent. The menu is altered seasonally and there are options for every taste. The staff are friendly, professional and dedicated. Trade winds may be considered expensive but it is worth it, there is also an extensive wine menu or you can order from the bar. It's the go to... More

Visited as a group on business. There were a lot of us, so were accommodated across three tables. Food was really good, and the portions were bordering on over generous. Dietary needs (coeliac, fish/shellfish allergy) were dealt with sensitively and in a knowledgeable manner. Staff were really friendly, and my only small criticism was that no bread was available to... More

What a lovely restaurant. We choose a formal A La Carte dinner upstairs but a bar menu was still available downstairs. Garlic prawns were superb as were the fish cakes. Filet Steak was perfectly cooked and the main course of a hot fish selection was a pure joy. We enjoyed the food and the service was friendly and very welcoming.... More

We ate downstairs in the Pub our first night in Cobh from a recommendation. Upstairs is the restaurant and pricier than the Pub food. The food and service were very good and the hostess, Jackie was very friendly.
