Lovely restaurant with seating up stairs overlooking Kennedy Park and Sea views. Friendly service. Small but good range of food on menu. Seafood pasta is delicious and portions are very good size - you wont go away hungry.

It was a quaint restaurant and was located right by the water's edge, with great views of the harbor. The prices were reasonable and our waitress were pretty attentive, but the food was thoroughly average. I had the bangers and mash and they were decent, but were smothered in broth. It was still a good meal, but I'd had many... More

We stopped by Trade Winds at the recommendation of our B & B host. We were not disappointed. As we stopped in, we learned they were serving a large party on the upper floor. There are about 5 tables on the main floor in the bar area. As luck would have it, a couple was just finishing their meal and... More

My friend and I spent a small fortune at this restaurant. The food was way overpriced and the service was eccentric, to say the least. We were told that our starter was unavailable some twenty minutes after placing our order. My friend did not enjoy her food at all. While I enjoyed mine it certainly did not warrant the price... In the heart of Cobh this is just a very average restaurant. The bat is the smallest I have ever seen with without doubt the worst pint I had in years . I declined a second and went on water for the remainder of the meal. The upstairs restaurant lacks any atmosphere at all . The food is only average... More

I quite enjoyed my seafood salad but my wife thought her pasta was not good. Our vegetarian friends had no more than the usual trouble finding something good.

Booked Trade winds for a meal last week for a very large group. Wasn't sure how it would work out given that there was already a group booking for the same night but I have to say, I couldn't find fault. The food was excellent and catered for several various dietary requirements in the group, the service was fast and... More

Because the service is slow. They need more help. The food on the other hand was good to excellent. The beef medallions were very well prepared. The stuffed filet also was excellent. My cheese covered salmon was perhaps not a great choice, but was at least unique. The presentation was nice for all meals.
