Upon getting out of our vehicle in Cobh, I could smell right away this town was the THE place for fish and chips despite what the locals say about Galway. We went to see the Titanic exhibition (which by itself was amazing) and asked a helpful woman there where the best fish and chips was nearby. She said, "go see... More

The food was great and the service was great, but the nicest thing was eating out on the terrace overlooking the harbour on a beautiful summers day.

Five of us went to the Quays in Cobh for lunch. It was a great experience for us all. The staff were first rate throughout - the right mix of efficiency and warmth - and the food was top-class. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Cobh and a meal at The Quays :-)

After returning from a tour of Cork City we stumbled upon this gorgeous Bar/Restaurant with a breath taking view of Cobh harbour. We were greeted by a lovely young waitress, Ellen, who immediately seated us and took fantastic care of us for the night. The food was to a high standard and we were not waiting long, despite it being... More

Had a delightful experience in the quays, we were seated outside with a beautiful view over looking the harbour. Was very busy at the time but our lovely waitress was very attentive and took care of us. We had the prawn pill pill starter and the seafood chowder and we had the fish and chips. All dishes were super. Would... More

Karen, Natasha and Ryan, what a great team of cheerful and happy young waiters and bar staff. Just having them serve you lifts your spirits, especially after visiting the sad "Titanic experience" on a "soft" day in Cobh. And the salmon sandwich was so deeply filled with salmon that I thought for a moment I was back in a New... More
