Beautiful food, excellent service and well priced. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our chat with John. I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Great lunch here on a Sunday, with wonderful freshly baked brown soda bread. Asked if we could buy a loaf, and we were invited back to help bake it! Good food, lovely people, highly recommended

Excellent menu choices with a range of things other than fish, but we went for the fish. My choice was mildly disappointing, as my fish selection was all battered - but my friends chose better and enjoyed their fish of the day. The service was friendly and effcient and overall good value for money.

Looking at the Menu, had no expectations but had a wonderful meal. I was with 2 friends from the US and we all ordered one of the "Specials" on the menu. Fresh Lobster & Prawns. It was excellent - well cooked and wonderful value. The place was very busy, an indication of the value and service.

If you want tasty food you must visit this restaurant. It looks unpretentious but it was busy when we were there indicative of the good quality and variety on the menu.

So good our family ate there twice in a week. The menu offers a large choice of dishes and there is a blackboard of specials in addition but I would really recommend you try one of the fish dishes. It is a pleasure to taste fish so fresh. We tried the lemon sole, the monkfish, the seafood platter and the... More

Excellent food. Modest prices compared to other restaurants in town. You cant go wrong with the fish, its right of the boat! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Went there a second night and had lamb. Delicious.

We can't recommend Murphy's restaurant highly enough - it was a delightful experience. Not only is the food excellent quality & value, but we greatly enjoyed our conversation with the owner John Murphy who was very interesting & charismatic and trying out the amazing dishes prepared by his son Johnny and daughter Siobhan, both excellent chefs. Don't miss the seafood... More
