This bar is one of the classiest in Bantry. Well laid out, nice seating and lighting. There was live music on the 2 nights we were there, from 9pm onwards, however it was not overpowering. There is a good selection of beers and spirits. Lots of families with small children in here eating (as they are staying at the hotel)... More

We went for a meal as staying locally. Prompt service and great tasty food too. Food arrived in a good time and the view of the bay was lovely.

We went here after our dinner in the resturaunt, there was a man playing live music for a couple of hours. There are sea view from the bar and the service was very good along with the Guinness!

It's a nice spacious place to sit, but the menu is small and unexciting - we went for fish and chips - and the service is a bit haphazard - they brought me fishcakes and chips, but cheerfully admitted with mistake.

I attended the West Cork Literary Festival from 17th to 23rd July and most of the major events were on at the Maritime Hotel and so I spent a lot of time in the bar. The staff were prompt, friendly and helpful. The cider was 4.50 Euros per pint which surprise me as I normally more than a fiver in... More

Having had really good food here before we headed back for more ( one adult.. Two kids).. We wanted to make the 18.00 clock movie. We arrived at 17.10. Within the first ten minutes the younger was complaining bout wet seat ( near the window). Thought nothing of it until I felt the seat ( very wet). Then the chaos... More

A nice modern layout with a good choice on the menu. Price was good but service badly let the place down. The mains took an age to arrive and when they did they arrived in dribs and drabs to the table. The children's meal arrived as the last of the mains. My wife's curry arrived with out naan bread and... More

Very Friendly Staff, good bar food menu. No problem doing something off menu for one of the kids . One dish did arrive cold. Overall good value and would return.

We ate here for lunch during our stay, the food & staff were excellent, with loads of choice and gluten free options.
