We only went here based on TA reviews. Burgers on first night were fantastic, fresh, filling and cooked to perfection, service a little slow though. My husband is a plain eater, hard to please sometimes (with food) and he wanted to go again the following night which we did. 2nd night might have been a totally different restaurant, again hubby... We ate here on a recent weekend trip to sneem.Another nearby restaurant that was rated no.1 was full and they didn't make much effort to accommodate us so we decided to take our business elsewhere...so glad we did.The place was very quiet with a lovely inviting fireplace smoldering away in the corner. We sat beside the fire nice and cosy. The staff... We stopped by for a quick snack and pint after visiting Staigue Fort in the rain. A good fire was going in the grate and we were invited to take the table immediately next to it. It was so comfortable, we decided to make it a full lunch and were glad we did. My wife and I both ordered fish... More

We received a very friendly welcome from the owner, who's a personable guy that has spent some years working in the States. Great and plentiful vege nachos, excellent bacon and cabbage, and a nice toasted sandwich were very much enjoyed. I also liked the Pinot Grigio. A comfortable, laid back atmosphere prevails here. Very well priced food. I'd highly recommend... More

We looked for simple but good barfood, but not much on the food menu was actually available. Same applies to the beers... Fish & chips very ordinary. All together very disappointing.

Stopped here for lunch while driving the Ring of Kerry. Michael greeted us warmly and was very professiona and helpful. The fire was blazing in the corner. I ordered fish and chips and my husband had the special lamb stew. Both dishes were top quality and very tasty. Top marks!!

The barman found us a table and we had a really good meal here. The chicken and vegetables were great, unfortunately they had run out of Irish stew! Great value too.
