Nice pub with friendly staff and a big outdoor garden and plenty of space. We didn't eat here so cannot speak for the food but it's a nice pub for a drink

Came here for dinner with my 2 kids early evening . Can't fault pub or staff was quiet when I went in . Staff lovely and chatty. Ordered fish and chips and I must say I was very disappointed. Though I would be getting fresh fish .but instead it looked and tasted like something from the aldi freezer. Daughter ordered... More

We ate at several bars while we were in Ireland but Bill Chawke's was by far the best. The staff was friendly, helpful and always smiling. And the food was excellent. Best fish and chips around!

We arrived in Adare on June 28 and came across this charming little pub (one of 4 in Adare) as a way to enjoy being "Irish." We actually came back every night until we left - the environment was wonderful and every single person we met was a like an old friend that we hadn't seen in years! Ireland was... More

Went here for a few drinks and saw numerous people complaining that they had been short-changed. We were not short-changed but we're charged €5 for a pint of lager (slightly more than other places) then charged €10 for another pint of lager and a large lime and soda, rip off.

We had a few pints on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The beer garden was a sun trap with plenty of tables. The pub itself is very nice and the staff were very friendly.

Stumbled on this place our first night on vacation and we're going to have a hard time going anywhere else. The music on Tuesday is fabulous and cannot wait to come and see the gentlemen play again Thursday. This place is hands down amazing.

We arrived in Adare and were in Bill Chawke's Bar on Tuesday. We had a great chat with Brian, one of the owner-bartenders, as well as some of the Locals. He, like all of the people we met there were very warm, friendly, genuine and personable and interested in our upcoming presidential election. My wife and I left town and... More

Established in 1846 Bill Chawke's Bar, located in the heart of Adare Village, Co. Limerick is a fine traditional bar with a great reputation for providing some of the best hospitality around. Our recently refurbished bar is an excellent place to watch our local Adare GAA heroes and all the other major sporting events live on our LCD High Definition TVs. Our live weekly traditional music sessions are famous and bring a wealth of musicians and music lovers through our doors. Our kitchen serves delicious traditional fare every day and customers keep coming back to us for a bite to eat or simply relax with a pint or glass of their favourite tipple. We have a truly superior beer garden which is the envy of every pub in the county; we just wish we could 'serve up' good weather for our customers to relax in it on those soft Irish summer days and not need one of our waterproof parasols. Our beer garden also has state of the art BBQ facilities and is a favourite with locals and visitors who like to dine and entertain al fresco whatever the occasion. Good quality service, delicious food and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is what we are all about and we think we deliver, in spades! Awarded the Prestigious Licensing World Country Bar of the Year 2010!
