We loved the ambiance of this bar, but the food was just average. The steak sandwich was overdone and the panini was soggy somehow.

It seems each pub has a different night for live music. We were on a night when this pub offered music. The musicians appeared to be local and got right down to business at 9pm. They seemed to really enjoy playing and the crowd seemed pleased as well. It was nice to hear Irish music and not just current day... More

Nice people and a fun environment! Wish we could go back. Very relaxing and good music. Had the common beer choices. Every bar in Adare had their own flare! Not a bad choice on the main strip!

We went two nights in a row, the first night was a Tuesday and they had traditional Irish music. The drinks were great, super cheap, and the service is above and beyond. We love Alan, the bartender, he was a whiskey expert who answer every question we had and served us some great different labels.

We were happy we stepped into this pub for dinner because they had really excellent traditional Irish music as well! The dinner was very good and we really enjoyed this place, as it was our last night of vacation.

Nice pub with friendly staff and a big outdoor garden and plenty of space. We didn't eat here so cannot speak for the food but it's a nice pub for a drink

Came here for dinner with my 2 kids early evening . Can't fault pub or staff was quiet when I went in . Staff lovely and chatty. Ordered fish and chips and I must say I was very disappointed. Though I would be getting fresh fish .but instead it looked and tasted like something from the aldi freezer. Daughter ordered... More

Established in 1846 Bill Chawke's Bar, located in the heart of Adare Village, Co. Limerick is a fine traditional bar with a great reputation for providing some of the best hospitality around. Our recently refurbished bar is an excellent place to watch our local Adare GAA heroes and all the other major sporting events live on our LCD High Definition TVs. Our live weekly traditional music sessions are famous and bring a wealth of musicians and music lovers through our doors. Our kitchen serves delicious traditional fare every day and customers keep coming back to us for a bite to eat or simply relax with a pint or glass of their favourite tipple. We have a truly superior beer garden which is the envy of every pub in the county; we just wish we could 'serve up' good weather for our customers to relax in it on those soft Irish summer days and not need one of our waterproof parasols. Our beer garden also has state of the art BBQ facilities and is a favourite with locals and visitors who like to dine and entertain al fresco whatever the occasion. Good quality service, delicious food and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere is what we are all about and we think we deliver, in spades! Awarded the Prestigious Licensing World Country Bar of the Year 2010!
