Since visiting Adare I have been asked more than once: "Did you stay at the Dunraven?" I am very glad to be able to answer in the affirmative. The service is of the highest standard but charmingly understated. It is not cheap but worth every penny (or cent) for the big bedroom and huge bed and perfect poached eggs and... More

When our daughter was small we always went to a hotel over the Christmas period, we stopped as she got into early teenage years and wanted to be with her friends. Our daughter had fond memories of Dunraven Arms Hotel where we used to go when she was a toddler so asked for this as her Christmas present. In September... More

Just checked out of this hotel having stayed 2 nights and it was like faulty towers .the poor staff were exhausted, over worked and understaffed and what occurred to our group is how management were so awful the way they spoke to the younger staff members. In this day and age I don't know how they can get away with... More

We had dinner there once and breakfast there twice. The food was terrific and the breakfast had such an amazing selection and nothing was too much trouble. Great staff. The hotel itself is very comfortable, the rooms are spacious and well decorated. There is a lovely feel to the hotel. Highly recommended.

We have eaten dinner each time we have stayed at Dunraven Arms. Our experience with service has always been good. Very pleasant servers from all over Europe who easily engage in conversation with guests. Menu is diverse but roast beef was outstanding yet again. Large portions with very good sides. Appetizers were also very tasty. Have stayed at Dunraven Arms... More

This restaurant is good but no way as good as it used to be service on the slow side and expensive for the quality of cooking

Stayed here for 1 night, lovely hotel very welcoming, very comfortable beds. We had a junior suite lovely room with everything we needed. Would have like a garden view instead of side gate, but as we booked late I guess in busy season all rooms with a garden view were booked. Dinner was excellent and the staff were very efficient... Of all our meals during our trip to Ireland, I have to say this was the most disappointing. Our hotel highly recommended this restaurant, noting their beef in particular. They only had one beef dish (prime rib) on the menu which was okay, but definitely not great. It was tender and cooked well but somehow underwhelming. Same can be said... More

We had a delicious 3 course meal here. Service was very attentive, nice selections of wines and very nicely presented, tasty food.
