We are on a tour of Ireland and our tour guide recommended this restaurant. Four of us all had different entrees and we all enjoyed our dinners very much. I would recommend the mussels and seafood chowder as they we delicious.

We enjoyed this lovely establishment. We were warmly welcomed by 'the boss,' a smiling affable guy who clearly loves to interact with his guests and ensure we are well looked after by frequently circulating amongst the tables and engaging with his customers. The menu is...a blueprint from an inventive culinary team. It shows dishes that have creative and innovative garnishes and combinations of ingredients. Evidence came with a savoury panacotta of parmesan and thyme. It was delicious and intriguing. Our main courses were sea bass and a cod on a ragu of beans and chickpeas. Both were perfectly cooked and very tasty. It’s good to see chefs who try to achieve new ways of presenting foods and dishes. Well done, White House!More

Parking is hit or miss. No AC, but did provide a good fan. Windows open because of the heat, but very loud on the street outside. Bed was uncomfortable with a serious dip on one side. Tiny shower. Staff in the restaurant were excellent though...and the french toast was a good pick.More

Walked in without booking a table and they were extremely busy, however me and my husband were accommodated. The Restaurant/Bar area was busy so we both ordered fish and chips. Our order was quick the hake was tasty however chips were freezing. Due to the...amount of customers we were unable to get a member of staff to complain. Overall it was short notice and food was alright at a cost of 39 euro , can't really say too muchMore

The food was great. Wagyu burgers, rustic fries, the vegetarian lettuce, tomato, and brie sandwich, and the seafood chowder all two thumbs up. The cheese plate is also generous - with Irish favorites melting in your mouth along with homemade bread. Service is slow. Food...took a while. Unexpectedly, it was an almost two-hour lunch.More

Piss on you After reading an Italian-themed poster in your restaurant, I eating an awful chicken dish with bacon, pesto, and Parmesan. I can only say: 'Proud to be Italian!' Maybe we don't speak English in a proper way, but we know how to have...gorgeous dinners in restaurants that know how to respect customers of every nationality.More

My husband ordered the seafood platter, and they agreed to halve the dish for him (at €50) as l don’t eat seafood and it is usually a meal to be shared by two. He said the dish was OK, not very much seafood for the price...and only one oyster! And the mussels were absolutely minuscule, smaller than my little finger nail. When he told the manager, she said oh yes, we don’t get large mussels here in Ireland (Have they never heard of Bantry Bay Mussels?) but she said they were very tasty! (Which they were not particularly). And he was quite ill during the night, and the next day, so we won’t be eating here again. I asked for chips instead of mash with my chicken, the chicken came with mash and the chips were forgotten. They came halfway through the meal, however. Enough said. Catering for tourists who are only in Kinsale for a couple of days so wouldn’t go back anyway.More

What an impressive restaurant. I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my tour group this week. Approximately 20 Americans had the pleasure of experiencing the wonderful manager and hospitality of their waitstaff. Service was great, but what about the food?!? I finally gave...in and tried the fish and chips. So good! Everyone (ok all of them had already eaten fish and chips) said it was the best they have ever had. Now knowing I had some of the best fish and chips my life is complete. Near the restrooms they have a very exquisite 9/11 memorial. It appears that this quaint town may have lost one of their own serving the US. Thank you for the wonderful experience and I am sorry for your loss as well.More

So we had my sisters hen party in Kinsale on February 25th. The White House kindly hosted the cocktail making activity. Brian who hosted the event was also the general manager but he was so down to earth and he was fantastic to deal with....We were treated so well and had our own outdoor area. We kindly ordered some food for each table and the staff were so accommodating to us and nothing was a problem. I can’t wait to revisit the White House and next time I’ll definitely stay it’s such a central location. Brian you were amazing it’s not easy dealing with a hen party but nothing was a problem to you. 5 star experience and you made the hen. Can’t wait to returnMore
