Great B&B above restaurant and pub/jazz bar. Experienced no noise from downstairs. Host Anthony was an absolute delight. Free on-site parking. Short (10 minute) walk to most of the sites of Kinsale. Included breakfast was top notch and meals at the on site restaurant were...delicious and reasonably priced. Would absolutely stay here again.More

Recently stayed 2 nights in this gorgeous hotel and don’t have 1 bad thing to say. Tony was the most welcoming and accommodating person, made us feel like family instantly. Rooms were very clean, spacious and the breakfast was delicious. All the staff we met...went above and beyond, I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Kinsale.More

Dined at the White Lady Jazz Club Women’s little Christmas 3 of us 2 x Starters. 3x Steaks mains, has to be the best spot for Fillet and T Bone in Kinsale the flavour and tenderness of all 3 med rare were out standing, cooked...to perfection, all with accompanying sauces on the side The hospitality and service via the crew at the white lady is outstanding, The atmosphere in the Jazz Bar is only missing one thing Ronnie Scott’s over the door very similar cosy and club like atmosphere to the dine in, while also accompanied via live entertainment, the night we dined the management had a 50s 60s blues and jazz singer Eamon on cool calm and sophisticated rounding of a perfect evening Highly recommend all check out the Jazz Club at the white lady for dining, especially if there is a live jazz session on but recommend book earlyMore

Our family went to the White Lady restaurant last weekend for a meal to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We were staying in Actons Hotel but decided to eat in the White Lady restaurant the second night. There were 6 children and 5 adults. This...was a great experience from the time we made the booking, when we arrived, during the meal. The staff were very attentive, and the food was excellent. There was a great choice of food. The children's menu had a good choice of food and the adult menu had choices of seafood, meat/steaks and Thai/Chinese/Indian selections. All dishes that we selected were cooked to perfection and were very tasty. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you for a great experience.More

When I was on a short term assignment twelve years ago, The White Lady was our favorite pub/restaurant. Anthony Collins was a fantastic host and was always willing to go above and beyond for everybody who was on assignment, even going so far as to...host a Thanksgiving dinner and a Super Bowl party for us when the hometown Colts were playing. Today I returned to a warm reception from Anthony who “welcomed me home” and made us one again feel like family. The food was absolutely delicious just as I remembered it. When you are in Kinsale this place is a must on your list. I’m certain we will be back multiple times before our trip is finished.More

Splendid variety of items on the menu. The five of us each ordered something different and all were excellent. Highly recommend for the food, location to harbor and welcoming atmosphere. They even accommodated a birthday. Lovely!

Firstly the positives, the setting is lovely and our young lady server Cora was pleasant, friendly and professional. We both requested ribs as a starter, but only after firstly asking that the kitchen make sure they were served hot as we had an issue with...below temperature ribs on a recent meal at a different restaurant. The ribs were served as a tasty and generous portion, however whilst they were warm, they were not hot ! I returned mine and even my partner had to admit they were a much better plate of food when served hot, hence I deduct a star rating for that. For mains I ordered chicken fajitas which were served to the table barely warm, actually the only hot item on the plate were the chips ? and the guacamole was more akin to liquidised baby food than a traditional guacamole ! the last time I had fajitas they were served on a sizzling skillet and hence a much more accomplished dish than this. My partners aromatic duck was served to the table barely tepid and hence I asked for the manager to call to the table. Whilst he was sympathetic, pleasant and professional he did say that he believed that as the meals were accompanied by salad ingredients that these dishes were being served at the right temperature for most people. The duck dish was returned as should have my fajitas. I don't know if restaurants are concerned on health and safety issues with the temperature of dishes considered "finger food" but seriously under temperature food is simply just not good enough. Numerous good looking plates of food passed our table and I'm sure had I ordered fish & chips (which would require cooking to order) this would be a 5 star review, however my dining experience should not be dependant on getting lucky with my menu choice, and hence as every review is a snap shot in time of that diners specific experience, this time mine was below that expected and I believe I'm being being more than fair in deducting a single star rating for each of the starter and main courses being under temperature. Suffice to say I was more than disappointed.More

Went for dinner 9th August.lady who took the booking couldn't have been nicer. On arrival the man at reception walked us into the restaurant pointed at a table in the far corner and said , that's your table in the corner. He promptly walked off...in the other direction. We were eventually given menus had tobask for water ..even though 23 degrees outside, no wine list offered. Starters were lively, then the main course, mine was slammed onto the table in front of me my partners fish and chips was accompanied with a tartar sauce that tasted like salad cream, I had a vegetarian pasta which had raw peppers in it and no flavour at all, calling it bland is a compliment, when the table was checked I did say this and the waitress offered to get me something else, but quite frankly I thought it safer not to and left over 3 quarters of the dish. When asking around kinsale this place was highly recommended so we were majorly disappointed on the lack of customer service and especially the food, a major let down for irish hospitality.More
