Friendly staff. Great meal. We met a group of friends at this location. Nice and central. Food was very good , large portions and reasonably priced. Would go again.

Great seafood chowder, try the specials, you'll enjoy your meal. It's a bit noisy at times, but it is a very busy place. We ate lunch and dinner here a couple of times, would go back when we return.

This restaurant/pub was my first experience in Kinsale. My group arrived later than planned into Kinsale. Maeve, the owner of the Blindgate House (highly recommended!) called down to Jim Edwards to ask them to stay open a littler later for us. They graciously accommodated us. Thank goodness because my family was starving after a long day of travel! Their kitchen... More

We have ate here a number of times before and we're looking forward to our return visit but we were disappointed with the level of service this time. Shown to table before it was cleaned and set, menus provided but had to ask for the wine list, asked for our food order too quickly, our table in the corner was... More

Following a recommendation from our B&B, we had a very good pub meal at Jim Edwards. We got there a little early about 6 p.m. and had a choice of seats, so settle on the pub. The staff was very efficient until later in the evening when it became a busy. We had to ask for our bill. But everyone... More

Jim Edwards, Kinsale was recommended to us for dinner, in town known for good food. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service efficient, the location central but the food was average, we left disappointed.

We went on a mission to find some food and after a few failed attempts and closed places a lady recommended this place. We each had different meals and everyone indicated they enjoyed their selected meals however none of them stood out to be outstanding. Our service wasn't terrible however it wasn't inviting either... I would likely choose something else... More

Good pub meal - daily special (lamb shank pie) was quite good, as was the fish & chips. Good for families as well as adults.

When our recommended restaurant was closed, we went in search of an alternative - and I'm so glad we did! I stopped a local gent on the street, to get his recommendation of where to eat (our party of four was getting "hangry" and antsy for a good sit down meal). Happily, he recommended Jim Edwards! We had an absolutely... More
