We had breakfast here on three occasions during our recent stay near Clonakilty. Everything is freshly cooked with quality ingredients sourced locally. Service was friendly and efficient. We would certainly call in again - hopefully to try lunch another time.

A wonderful oasis offering meals, but their coffee and cake is wonderful. A wide choice of freshly made cakes/ desserts.

Waited over 30 minutes for fishcakes, asked for extra sauce the minute I was handed the plate. They eventually came out with it it was the wrong sauce and I had long finished my meal. This was the second chance I gave the place after having a bad experience there last year. It won't get a third! Bad value for... More

Going to Ireland to enjoy the food, and this is where you get your dinner(lunch). A lovely lunch spot which fed the kids and the adults really well.

Called earlier today with my friend who is coeliac as menu said gluten free adaptable. Aside from having to wait for ages for menus, another wait for order to be told the only gluten free option was Salad! It seemed very much like waitress had no interest when asked about gluten free options. Opted for salad and requested gluten free... More

Had heard a lot of great things lately and I agree this place really is a gem! You can sit in Gearoidíns with no fuss, and enjoy a nice lunch and sweet treat with your tea/coffee! A rare find, even in Clonakilty for the price, quality and service provided even when all the seats are full!

We were left waiting about 30 minutes waiting to eventually receive wrong order, staff member blamed her colleague & walked away swearing, then only half the order arrived & we informed staff, another staff member came out & blamed us for the wrong order & my husband had to get the menu to point it out to her that the... Stopped here for a sandwich and cake. Food was fabulous, tasty home cooked, well presented and served by a lovely waitress. Will be back again

Gearoidins is a very small café and all the food is freshly made by the proprietor. We stopped for a sandwich at lunchtime, and although the service was not quick, the sandwich was fresh and well filled with very tasty ingredients. I feel some comments made here are a little too negative. If you want something freshly made with care... More

We stopped here to have lunch. The menu was extensive and I was torn between a couple of things but we both agreed that our sandwiches were delicious and the coffee was very good too. As it was busy, obviously the word is out that it's a very good spot to have lunch.
