Frendly helpful staff and a great location but the whole experience spoiled by dog poo outside Prices on the high side and food good but certainly not in line with prices

It's definitely a great value for those staying in the hotel because the restaurant on the upper floor is way too expensive

I live locally so this review is not based on a one off visit. I have been coming to the Dunes over the last ten years and, yes, my experience has not always been consistent over that time. At the moment, however, it is at its best, by a mile. The team who are running the Dunes now and for... More

Taking a chance we stumbled upon the Dune's Pub & Bistro, the Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa, overlooking the expansive beach area of Clonnakitty, Ireland. When my wife's seafood chowder arrived she was amazed at how generous the amount of seafood, packed. We've had no less than 10 seafood chowders since arriving in Ireland two weeks ago and this was... Having visited here on many occasions we are still delighted all the time . What ever you order from the menu will not let you down . The quality and portions are excellent . The staff are top class and what a setting . If only every where was like this .

So the dunes is a nice spot. The food is good but it is lacking in service. The service is just very slow at times and some staff look disinterested . Again it is the only spot when at Inchydoney so I will return and have had plenty of good experiences but it lacks consistency. It was quiet one evening... More

This was my final visit to this bar /restaurant having given it lots of opportunity to change over many years. Food is lovely and is 4 star in terms of quality however the service is consistently slow. Every time I have eaten here there have been long wait times to have yourr order taken initially and then even longer wait... More

Portions are almost too big here.We shared starters most nights and had room then for dinner. The fish of the day is always great, and if the seafood platter is on the specials board, make sure you order it, it's enough for two with a couple of side order. Very busy at the weekends, and not a great 'pub' atmosphere,... More
