Friends and I stopped in to Finin's after a Jameson tour. They were 8 of us and we were famished. We read the menu first before deciding to stay. Each of us got either the vegetable soup or seafood chowder to start and then each got an entree. Only two of us got a glass of wine (Cabernet, it was... More

We started with the soup and Irish coffees and ended up just getting more soup, it's that good!!! Service was ok, our server's shift came to an end during our meal and no one came to check on us so I went up to the bar to ask for more soup and our bill.

I was passing through Midleton on a Tuesday evening and stopped in for dinner, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly, with more than enough people on duty to keep everyone happy. The food was excellent - roast lamb followed by home-made apple pie - and there was a lovely atmosphere, with a mix of people just... More

We stopped by for a late dinner on a Friday evening. It was busy and so the service wasn't very fast but it was really friendly. I had the chowder - it was tasty, my husband had the burger - it was fantastic, a really good rum and coffee cake for dessert and Murphy's on tap. Lovely!

Went for lunch. Sat in pub near door which meant shifting to allow in prams people barged into me as they went in and out I started with pate. Alas it was the most miserable piece I ever saw. My friends chowder was nice. The main courses were all right

Lovely friendly staff but overpriced for what you get, probably won't be back but it did the job for today. I ordered steak and my dad ordered seafood platter, two of the pricier items on the menu.

Finin's Restaurant had a great reputation in Midleton but our recent visit there was disappointing. The staff were top class, efficient and cheerful. Because it was a hot day, we both went for salads. I went for the seafood platter and my wife went for the prawn salad. For the cost involved, the portions were small and the platter in... More
