Had a stop in macroom en route to Tralee. This is an old fashioned quaint little place. Not a great selection of pastries however the sandwiches are made with their own baked bread and are very tasty.

We stopped on our way from Cork to Killarney. The place looked pleasant enough so we went in. We asked if we ordered at the counter but we're told to sit and a waitress would take our order. Eventually she arrived, my wife ordered the smoked salmon on brown bread and I asked for a toasted cheese and pickle sandwich.... More

We came in here on Sunday for lunch half an hour before closing time. Although the cafe was still serving, the staff seemed unconcerned with anything but leaving on time. They weren't at all accommodating and made a noise packing the chairs up around the diners. They also told us when we asked that one of our party didn't have... More

Handy location in the town square and free one hour parking if you can grab a space outside. Cannot help to miss the place as Lynch's painted a bright yellow with red woodwork! I usually head elsewhere in Macroom but decided as I was parked outside I should give it a try. Delightfully rustic inside and a warm welcome from... More

We stopped off her to grab a quick bit of food and get on the road again to Tralee. Service was reasonably fast and the food (cakes) were nice but the staff weren't at all welcoming or friendly. Maybe it was just an off day.

Macroom was the town of my grandfather's birth and we sought to get information about him and the family as he died when I was two years old. Well, when Humphrey Lynch & his family learned who we were they extended the most gracious hospitality to us. Their baked goods are excellent and if we had a way to transport... More

We were driving from Skibbereen to Dingle and needed a place to stop for a break. The lovely market town of Macroom offered lots of shops and cafes to choose from, but Lynch's seemed to be the local favourite. We had Americano coffees and chocolate eclairs here - very good! We discovered that Lynch's was a movie setting for the... More

Cute little cafe. Lovely morning for a Cappuccino and fresh baked goods! Farmers Market across the street and beautiful flowers all around.

Lynch's is a historic business in Macroom now and may seem old-fashioned at first but don't let that stop you coming here: it's one of the best places you can go in the area for a hot drink and a scone or bun and it's also got free Wifi! You'll also enjoy people-watching here and the staff are very friendly.... More
