Got the food to take home tonight. Absolutely lovely. Although it wasnt strange eating the food at home instead of the restaurant it didnt take away from the flavour. Some foods dont travel well but it's not the case with Cape Greko.
This is my favourite Greek restaurant, now closed because of Covid 19. So decided for my family of 6 to order a take away from
Cape Greco. Food was amazing, price was resonable. Book your food and the time you want to collect, and collect...it freshly prepared.
Treat yourself to a good night in.More
Was really looking forward to visiting Cape Greko as I hadn’t been here in months due to Covid. Called in for an early bird with my friend on Saturday and it did not disappoint. Starters of halloumi and vegetable keftedes were lovely followed by Stithos...Olympus chicken that were huge portions and so tasty. Social distancing was well
observed and staff were very friendly as always. So great to be able to visit my favourite restaurant in Malahide again.More
Delicious food, it’s rare in Ireland to get a Greek or Cypriot restaurant, especially one with such a delicious selection of food. The chicken in each meal seemed to be quite dry, however the flavour in meals such as the halloumi was delicious. Friendly service....Steep stairs upon entrance so may not be accessible to all.More
Almost makes up for not having a proper summer holiday on a sunny Greek island! Lovely atmosphere and great food, thanks to our friendly Romanian waitress! Also enjoyed the organic NZ Sauvignon. Would recommend!
Excellent take away service in these difficult times for businesses and Customers. Had gone a few times a year to restaurant regularly.
Was well impressed with the collection menu as we couldn't do the restaurant this time.
Great salad side dishes, excellent souvlaki kebabs ,...stiifado and timely food availability.
Keep up the good stuff, this place is a lovely find.More

We were really happy when we finally found a greek restaurant. We were looking forward to have one gyros each, as it is the most greek food you can think of (I think everyone can agree on this one). We saw in the menu in...front of the restaurant that they serve gyros, so we went in. We have a 1 year old child, the restaurant itself isn't too child-friendly as only a steep staircase leads to the restaurant, so it is quite hard to get the buggy upstairs, also we were not given a baby high-chair either. We were there around 5-6 o'clock, and the restaurant was almost empty. We sat down, got the menus, we didn't get any information of what foods are "available", so we just ordered the 2 gyroses with appetisers. They told us that we can't order that, because it is in the lunch menu, and they stopped serving those at 3 o'clock. Please note, that this information was NOWHERE to be seen on the menus, nor on the menu outside the restaurant, but not even the waitresses told us this. Also, it's a real shame that a greek restaurant doesn't serve gyros all day long, only in a specific timeframe, while as I said, it's one of the most famous greek foods and I believe many people want to order that.
We said okay, then we would just like to order 2 sparking water, then we would leave (we wanted to at least feed our baby, we already started it, but we didn't want to sit there while not ordering anything, hence the sparking waters). They told us that we can't even order water and we have to leave. The waitresses were nice enough, although I felt a strange negative vibe from the owner, I think he was a bit too harsh. Anyway, we left hungry and disappointed, and we couldn't even finish feeding our baby.More

I’m very disappointed that you took quite a long time to write this bad review about our restaurant Instead of reading the menus that were provided to you by our lovely staff. If you would’ve spend 5 minutes to read the menus you could’ve see...More
