We were out for family birthday celebration and all of us really enjoyed our food, staff are so pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is off the main road and I'm sure the location would put some off but it is honestly worth a visit. Flavours in the food and portions were great. Highly recommend.

As other reviewers have said don't be put off with the exterior although I think it could do with a bit of a make over. Its décor inside is rustic. I imagine it would be lovely in winter when the fire is blazing. Great menu, plenty of choice. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. The bread came with lovely... More

Tossed up between two local restaurants and decided on La Sabbia. Took a bit of finding, but well worth it. Not too much to look at from the outside, but don't be put off. Warm and welcoming inside, and genuine Italian food to die for! As a party of eight, we explored the full range of starters and mains, and... More

Absolutely beautiful food. Christian is from Sicily so the food is southern Italian -really great pizza. Went here on a night with my family - over 10. The service was fantastic, very friendly and a really homely comfortable restaurant. Definitely go back for the food and hospitality. Louise and Guido

Looks Awful on the outside but inside it's really nice. Food was really lovely. We had Pizza's & Pasta dishes. Wine was really nice. Would recommend booking as they were packed. Would have liked to stay on have a drink but there were no seats left. Staff were really nice & helpful. Would recommend & go back.

After a second night trying to find this restaurant we weren't disappointed! Do not be put off by its location and outward appearance. This is not a restaurant that rushes you to your table and quickly throws your meal on the table! The breadsticks waiting at each persons place setting along with sun dried tomato bread with dipping oil was... More
